Strong Scent

Bought this to replace the original filter that came with the vacuum. No issues installing it, simple one-for-one swap. I believe the vacuum has a little more suction, simply because the filter is new and not clogged up with all the stuff it normally is. I got the Febreze filter because I own a dog and cat, both indoor/outdoor, that constantly bring in new smells. It works well for that, freshening the air while I clean the floor. The only issue is how powerful the scent is when it's new. I know this is an issue with any kind of "air freshener", but it seems like someone should have/could have come up with some way to time-release so it doesn't overpower the first few times and then almost completely fade. Would buy again.

Four stars due to price, but the room smells pretty

My Eureka filter gets replaced with this one because it helps make the room smell pretty. Just a tad, not overdoing it. Its a pretty penny though to replace when that time comes so i try to go as long as i can before i replace.

Smell?? Cost?

First - this item is pricey no matter where you purchase it from, but this was the best option I could find, which was a feat on it's own. I selected this over the normal one just for the scent, which was apparent on the filter but not when vacuuming. Disappointed to say the least. The advertising of the packaging leads you to believe you will smell the scent while vacuuming which was not the case for me. Next time I'll just by the regular filter and save a buck.

Smells good, fit is a little off.

I love the smell of these. They are a little flimsy though. I had to force mine down inside my vacuum even though it takes the DCF-21. However, when I pushed down on it, the whole thing bent in like an accordion. It's in there now and working fine.

Wonderful

Wonderful. Got rid of the pervasive smell of dog that always appeared whenever I started up my vacuum with the old filter. Fit in my vacuum perfectly with no problems. Febreze smell is pleasant but not overwhelming. I highly recommend this and will buy again when it is time to replace the filter.
