I wish I would've known about these before I tossed my old chairs out.

These slipcovers are great! I have 4 kids. Not normal clean kids either. Mine are all mess goblins that eat and wipe their messy hands all over any fabric that's near. Have I tried changing their behavior? Of course! I feel it's a losing battle. Anyway, moving on... my parsons chairs in the dining room were all but destroyed cosmetically, but remain structurally sound. I found these little stretchy blessing while looking around for new chairs. Don't replace your chairs, get these! If someone spills, and they will, they're easy to pop off and toss in the laundry. It's also fun to switch out for different seasons. These are well made and hold their color after washing too!

Wonderful Fit & Fabric!

I used these to cover my current Pottery Barn dining chairs. I was amazed at how great they looked when placed on! Fabric is wonderful quality and they fit PERFECTLY!

Will protect your chairs from crumbs

I ordered these to protect my velvet wingback chairs from crumbs at a recent gathering and will definitely use them again in the future. Because my chairs are wingback, the fit is not very good - but I’d rather that the covers on my chairs look wonky instead of having dirty fingerprints and crumbs all over the velvet upholstery.

Good for protection, but not a fan of the looks

I thought I'd try these out, because my new dining chairs almost immediately got some small stains on them. Rather than spot cleaning them, I figured washing slipcovers would be more convenient. Unfortunately, I just don't like the way the chairs look with the covers on. They go on well and are protective, but the whole aesthetic is altered. I get that if you have small kids, these will will be a must, but I don't so I'll probably use my chairs without them.

Like leggings for your armless dining chairs

These are simple to put on and have tons of stretch. The bottom that goes around the seat has an elastic sewn into the edge for a better grip to the chair seat. Once they are on, they still have plenty of stretch. I think if the seat was not in the way, I could have stretched the chair back all the way to the floor. So they don't fit tight like you would wear leggings, they do move if you move. I think they would move less though if your chairs are a fabric as opposed to a leatherette fabric. If you are getting ready for the Holidays, and your chairs don't look that presentable, this is a quick and easy fix for next to nothing financially. If you have kids, they protect the original chair seat from fallen food. I didn't need 6 so I have extras making this a good value. If you have ever felt or used those sheets or box spring covers with spandex, that is what these are like. The chairs I placed these on do have a wooden back and they look ok. They would look better if my chairs had a padded/fabric back though, but they work for me. Machine washable. I think the perfect chair for these covers would be the chair as pictured. The "leather like" chair that came with your dining set that is now peeling 6 months later and you have to cover it up. I think I would like these better if they fit tighter so there was less movement when you sit on them. In my experience, they appear to be about the same quality with extra stretch that you would get anywhere, but a good value with the 6 piece set.

Chair covers

These are easy to put on and take off and are very convenient to protect chairs. The material is thin and stretch but durable. I have put it through a few washes and the quality and color is still there. My picture is on a non padded chair to illustrate how thin it is.

Looks nice, but really thin

We have some pretty torn-up leather (or leatherette perhaps) chairs. Because we have cats. Our life very often has kittens. See the photo of the green chair. The Amazon Basics seat cover is pretty fantastic for changing up the color of the chair. It's silky and soft, classy looking and easy to install. But you can feel those claw divots right though it, and even see them as bumps, although they don't photograph well. Our other seat covers, which are textured "checkered" fabric, completely hide those from both sight and touch. And stand up to rambunctious kittens better; the blue textured cover in the photo has been on the chair for months, used as a jungle gym by a Maine Coon kitten and a young Siberian. The Amazon Basics seat covers are an amazing deal if you don't have torn-up seats and don't have kittens.

Fantastic product and great value for money

I bought these as my leather dining room chairs had split across the seams. Really easy to put on and fantastic fit! They've given my dining room chairs a new lease on life. Couldn't be happier!

Pretty good

For the price, these are amazing. Currently retailing at not quite sixteen pounds for six. Which really, is off the scale good value. They fit onto my chairs easily enough and are washable. They are a little see through and show water marks even when they dry, but they do wash out. Cheap and cheerful! Recommended ????
