functional, not great

This thing works, but it won't be able to hold a lot of weight. While preparing it for the one curtian I was putting on it, the ends kept falling off. It was rather annoying. It works for me because it's for a basement window that doesn't need to be touched, but I think if I had to open and close the curtian daily the rod would fall down over time. It's functional, but there are far better tension rods on teh market.

Pretty flimsy

This curtain rod has a nice attractive dark finish on it. Unfortunately, it is not as sturdy as I had hoped for it to be. I think it would work ok for a curtain rod that you didn’t mess with very often, but I was hoping to use it to hold my shower curtain.

Flimsy junk

Might be okay if you want to set it and forget it but it's falling down if you touch the curtains. There's no tension spring and the rod will bow if you try to compress it 0.5 inch like the instructions say. It stays straight with less compression but doesn't hold any weight.

Really nice tension rod

I'm using this to hang a curtain to replace a closet door. It was very easy to pop the end off and put the curtain rings on, then put the end back on. Adjusting the tension to fit was really easy too, by turning the rod. It doesn't have a lot of "spring" to it, so it will fit nice and tight. The end caps have a little rubber pad on them so your door or window frames will be slightly protected from the pressure. The satin nickel finish is very handsome too. It is a very sturdy and nice looking tension rod.

No spring inside- defective product

Unfortunately, when this arrived and I tried to set it up, I discovered that it was defective with no spring inside to hold it in the window. I had to return it within the hour that I received it. I liked the color and look though.

Sturdy and easy to install

This was easy to set up, and has held up very well. It looks really nice also. It has little rubber pads at the ends to help protect the walls too. It feels very sturdy and solid. I'm very happy with this.

Well made

I needed a tension rod for hanging clothes in my laundry room and this was perfect. Well made and sturdy.
