Wonderful watch

This is a really nice watch. If a simple casio was your target, consider a few more dollars for this and gain the steel case and dual time. The bracelet is nothing more than you can imagine, but the watch takes any 18mm strap you prefer.

Great Blast From Past Vibe

A cool, retro, METAL cased watch that looks awesome and works great. I have been wearing (and digging) it daily since January and it's given me no trouble. Love the heft!

Watch is fine, wristband was defective on receipt

I gave up buying watches with a metal wristband and plastic case: the lugs on the plastic case failed within a week or a year. This watch has a stainless steel case, and the lugs haven't broken after 18 days of use. Unfortunately the adjusting mechanism (yellow arrow) in the clasp on the wristband was cockeyed, and the clasp would unclasp all by itself after a few hours. I realigned that adjusting mechanism precisely then squeezed the side plates with pliers to better capture the mechanism, and the problem appears to have been solved. But I shouldn't have had to do that. Accuracy: watch has gained about ½ second per day.

All Metal

This watch and band are all metal, as far as I can tell they're both stainless steel. I just got this thing today, but so far, so good. It looks and fits nice, and all of the features work. It's got a nice retro vibe, and that's exactly what I was looking for. For reference, I have an exactly 7" wrist; the band fits with plenty of room to spare; I'd imagine this would fit people with upwards of a 9" wrist. The face of the watch isn't huge which seems to be typical of this style; there's about a thumbnail of space on either side before going over the edge of my wrist. I'm really satisfied with my purchase so far!

Good, Possible quality issue

Very nice digital watch, I got this searching for a digital watch with a stainless steel case, and this delivers for a great deal. Not a fan of the bracket it comes with but switching that out is no problem. Only giving 4 stars due to a quality issue with the watch I received. After wearing it for a day, noticed the mode button had come loose, was able to pull the button out. Opened up the case and found the retaining ring for that button floating around in there. After snapping it back into place, the button stayed for about another day before popping out again. Ended up scavenging a different ring from an old broken Casio and replacing the retaining ring and has been find since

Awesome stainless steel watch

As a Casio fan I thought I'd try something from an American digital company - was pleasantly surprised to see this have such great build quality. Full stainless steel case with snap caseback. Feels great to use. Only negative is the backlight is a small green LED sidelight and its very dim - exactly like the Casio F91W. Pretty cool, would like to see more classic looks from Armitron.

I like that it is a digital watch with a solid stainless band AND casing. Most digital "stainless" watches have a fake stainless casing which is foil and plastic. I hate the light. I thought my unit must be defective, the light seems broken. But based on other reviews it seems like that is just the way it is. I'm young and don't get any nostalgia from a crappy light, I would rather have a metal digital watch with normal watch light that lights up enough to read the time bleary-eyed in the middle of the night. To read the time in the dark I need to use my phone flashlight, which kinda defeats the purpose of having a watch because then I can just look at the time the phone. Edit: The little bar in the clasp broke. So now I can't wear the watch without it falling off, unless I do something crass like tape the clasp shut or superglue it permanantly closed on my wrist.

Retro perfection, bringing the 80s back

Back in the 1980s you could get a reliable digital watch, with a rugged stainless-steel case, and enough water resistance to fearlessly wear it in the pool/at the beach. All without blowing your video arcade/hamburger stand budget. This is that watch, and I absolutely love it. Outstanding value, and flawless functionality, all wrapped in a beautifully rendered throwback to the golden age of digital watches. Some folks complain about the dim backlight, but that is exactly how they were "back in the day", and I've never had a problem with them. If you need a pocket flashlight, carry a pocket flashlight, this is a watch, it tells time, and this one does it with undeniable retro coolness.

Excelente reloj para el día a día

Me encantó el reloj!! Con construcción totalmente de acero inoxidable se siente sólido y duradero. La caja tiene un cepillado vertical por todos sus ángulos que se ve muy bien. Me gusta mucho cómo se ve en mi muñeca de 16cm. Como contras, el reloj no tiene timer o cuenta regresiva, como viene en la publicación. También cuando me llegó la luz fallaba mucho, le cambié la pila y ya funciona. Aún con todo esto, es un relojazo por el precio. Estoy muy contento con la compra.

Solid Vintage

Solid vintage digital, convinces with design and material. Stainless steel body sets it apart for the plastic body of similar products and it feels like the old days. For those of you with declining eyesight the display may not be that easy to read when it comes to some elements. Also the backlight is really vintage, meaning it doesn't work. Overall still a convincing product, however I'd probably wait for deals on this, which I did.
