National Hardware V1333 Screen/Storm Door Closer in White Use these in pairs of (2) on your door, these are NOT those real heavy duty type where you won't be able to open your door, been there and done that. :-( These will be PERFECT when used in pairs of TWO (2) on you screen door. All of the women will LOVE you !!!! Mine worked perfect right out of the box no adjustment needed. These work great, Last a long time and are very adjustable. Buy with confidence RagenRat

Easy fix!

Our screen door, which is at least 22 years old, had a leaky hydraulic door closer. The door would just slam, and the closer was covered in fluid. I ordered this hoping it would fit, and it was perfect. The door no longer hits me in on the way in, and it looks nice and clean to boot!

Adjusting?

The overall quality is good & I guess my issue is with these door closures in general-they are extremely hard to adjust to prevent slamming or closing all the way. May just be me....

Easy installation

This was the exact replacement I needed. I am happy with the product and the price.

Doesn't work as others do

It can in .packed well. Installed it. The adjustment to set speed of.closing the door is two speeds. Screwed all way in door closes sort of slow tune the scer out just an incriminate the door still slams as though it doesn't have a in-between speed. Not happy but to much trouble to , take down pack up and send back.

Fails at -15C

Doesn't work in Canadian winters. It stopped creating resistance to the door slamming shut at -15C. Adjusting the resistance screw on the piston does nothing to help the problem. I bought two of these and both are failing in the same way. Best to avoid this product if you live in Canada.
