If only...

This watch has 1 redeeming quality and that is, it is quite the looker. The only reason I boughy and decided to keep the watch ia because I really love the wayt he dial looks. Quality and materials is what one would expect from Timex. Nothing special just decent. All Timex had to do to make this a 4 star watch is fix the movement. Never have I evrr been so maddeningly frustrated by a timepiece. The crown is so frustratingly loose that any attempt to set the correct time is an excercise in bomb technician levels of precision. Every time you attempt to set the time and push the crown in, the minute hand will absolutely, 100%, without a doubt... move. You're lucky if you get within 5 seconds of thw correct time. The only plus side to this movement is it is much quiter than you're average Timex movement, like the Expedition line. Which I can hear ticking from across the room at night. This one is much quieter.

Surprisingly great - no issue with crown.

Great looking watch, nice size - dressy but big enough to still be a bit more casual and versatile. Not loud. Dial is really well-done, I love that the day date seemleasly integrates with the design and doesn't throw off the symmetry. Also quite legible. Only thing I would change, and have changed, is the strap, which is just okay.

Mileage may vary

Upon receiving the watch, I was happy with the design and quality of materials. The watch looks as clean as it does in the photos, and the band is nice and flexible. The issue I had was the crown. It was far too loose to accurately set the time. Upon pressing down or pulling the crown out, it was loose enough that the slightest touch would turn the minute hand, sometimes more than a minute. I spent roughly 10 mins just trying to set the time, and each time I pressed down the crown, even when I was being exceedingly careful, it would still turn ever so slightly and cause the minute hand to move, oftentimes more than 30 seconds. This may not seem like much to most people, but I figured it was worth mentioning. I also feel it is worth mentioning that this could be a defect with the watch I received, so mileage may vary. Otherwise, the watch was a nice timepiece, and I was disappointed that I had to return it.
