Great product, disappointing bottle

26k reviews as of now totalling 4.5 stars... Rightfully so. But the company could easily put a stopper type plug in the opening of the bottle so only drops come out. Because how often do you need a whole tump of the product? But it's better for their business to let you sit it down with the lid off and knock it over, having to buy more frequently or to tump out way more than necessary for the current use. So shame on you Neutrogena. But do purchase the item because it works nicely.

Best waterproof mascara remover

I have been using this remover for years. It is gentle on my eyes and removes all my waterproof mascara without tugging on my lashes.

Not bad.

I wanted to love this so bad. I am not complaining that it is horrible but for some reason it leaves my eyes with a slight burning sensation and leaves them fuzzy. No I don’t put it in my eye and when finished getting my mascara off I wipe with a clean pad. It’s does get mascara off for the most part.

Removes make up but OUCH it burns!!

I use this to remove eyeshadow and liquid eyeliner on top of my eyelid (I pour some on a cotton ball and then smudge the make up off). It easy removes the make up BUT it burns my eyes! Wish it could be a little easier on the eyes...

Dip a cotton swab in it and use it to remove residual eye make up that didn't come off with facial cleansing. Works!

AWFUL - would have given 0 stars if that were an option

I bought this product specifically because it says it's "oil free". I've used an oil free make up remover / cleanser for years as my skin is highly sensitive to oil. Sadly the one I'd used for the last few years is no longer being made. I have used other Neutrogena products happily. This stuff is awful. You can see in the photo the line about half way down the bottle - that is how the ingredients separate after it has been standing a few minutes. I've only previously seen this separation of ingredients in oil based removers. I am not a chemist so I can't analyse the ingredients to know what creates the effect - perhaps the glycerin? But the statement on the back of the bottle saying "your skin is left feeling clean and fresh with no oily residue" was absolutely NOT true in my case. After applying it I was left with a thin layer of what certainly felt like oil / grease on my face. I had to wash my face to remove it, leaving my skin slightly red and sore. I would certainly not recommend this product for anyone seeking either the sensation of an oil free cleanser, or needing to avoid oil as their skin doesn't tolerate it well. I would have given 0 stars if that were an option.

Me hubiera gustado que viniera en su empaque original (para evitar discrepancias en la autenticidad del producto) Es por ello que no le doy ???? ????????????????????????‍♀️

Oil free? Really?

Bought this as it claims to be oil free. So I don't know what the oily feel is thats left after using but I dont like it, particularly aroud my eyes. It does go eventually but I would not have bought if I had been able to try. However it is very effective at removing makeup, even stubborn mascara.

Okay, it does the job but…

I only got it because I had eyelash extensions, and you’re not meant to use oil based products or something. Cant remember. Anyway, this did remove my eye makeup, but a few lashes still came off and it feels so … oily and thick on my skin. Like I have to wash my face right after. Honestly could’ve been a bottle of olive oil.

Super MU remover and feels lovely on the eyes

This is a very good eye MU remover. It feels silky and cooling when I apply it with a cotton pad. It doesn't sting my eyes at all and although my mascara isn't waterproof it is a very tough one to get off, and this did the job effortlessly. It does leave a residue, but I always cleanse my face after makeup removal so that isn't a problem. It feels oily/silky on my skin, but there is no oil in the ingredients so I get no oily film in my eyes using this. It is annoying we can't seem to get it in the UK highstreets, but this is one of the cheepest about, as other UK sites seem to only sell the 112ml bottles for around the same price as this 163ml, so even with postage it works out cheaper. Very good product I would highly recommend. :)
