Difficult to get adjusted

Firt time out with the reel, I spent more time fiddling with it, trying to get it set up. Might have been a bad rod/reel combination. I removed the reel and used it as a spinning rod the rest of the outing.

Low quality. Almost impossible to use.

I’ve had this reel for a year and have tried to figure out what’s wrong with it over and over but it’s a lost cause. It backlashes like crazy unless the cast control is set so tight I can only get about one third the distance I expected. The magnetic control seems to work but for having a range from 1 to 10 it really is more like either all or nothing. Also the drag can’t be dialed in tight enough without it actually making it more difficult to reel in general. So it’s either way to freewheeling or so tightened up it’s a burden.

Photo was backwards.

The product works, it was just labeled and photographed upside down and called a left handed reel. By the time I realized it, I had thrown away the receipt.
