Be careful during assembly

The kit was installed in the carb of a friend's Ariens lawn tractor. The kit was bought because it seemed very complete, including paper gaskets. That would be a time saver. The carb is rebuilt but hasn't been installed yet. My comment so far is that some of the parts didn't fit. One of the needles looked OK but didn't thread properly into the carb body, and it felt like it might break, so I reused the original needle. I could have spend time filing and polishing the thread to make the needle fit, but the original needle looked perfect and fitted perfectly. One of the needle springs became coil-bound before the needle was seated, which is a problem. I could have cut the spring shorter and filed the end flat, but instead I reused the original spring which fitted perfectly and was in good condition. Someone using the kit without paying close attention could run into problems. A little disappointing.

unlike briggs kit all parts included for half price!!!!!

ive dealt with these folks before. customer service is awesome and product arrives in a timely manor so dealing with these folks is always a pleasure!!!! bought the kit for emulsion tube as i already stupidily bought a briggs kit for 25 dollars and it did not include all parts. oh well now i will have spare parts:) do yourselves a favor, since the briggs OE kit is china made anyways, stick with this baby. its the same kit, you get EVERYTHING you need and its half the price!!!!!

Completely compatible with this carburetor !!! Parts fit as they should. I highly recommend a rebuild kit for any older riding mower to extend the life of your engine's performance. My order arrived quickly and undamaged. I had a good overall experience with this order. Highly recommended !!!

Few extra parts, seems to always be the case with the rebuilds but extras are always good! I wish these came with instructions but if you take your time it will run smoothly, and be careful with the float pin, flooded my engine because I scored the pin too much. Rookie mistakes!

Perfect Fit..!!!

Gave an old mowing new life. The mower,now runs like brand new. Very pleased with the part. Much cheaper than a new Riding Mower!

Great deal, arrived fast and in original packaging.

This kit has all you need for the varriations in the flow jet style Briggs carburator. It has two different float needle valves, and if your lucky inough to be able to extract the float valve seat, it has a new one of those too. It has intake gasgets for the larger and smaller versions (11 hp and 8 hp for example) intakes.

No instructions

Instructions would have been extremely helpful with this product. Had to bring it to a small engine repair place to get the kit installed. However the riding mower runs amazing now. Definitely worth the investment.
