Practically perfect

I really like my water crock and am glad I got the stand. Easy assembly and sturdy enough to actually hold the filled water crock. The space where the crock sits is too big, but I guess once the crock is full of water it doesn't slide around in the space. The feel are hard plastic and I kinda worry about it scratching my wood desk, but again, once it's full it doesn't move around. I'll probably paint it, but it works well and has enough space underneath to fill and even store glasses.

Pretty, simple, and sturdy

This is a simple yet attractive design. It’s working well to hold a 3 gal New Wave water dispenser in my fitness studio. I took off one star because I couldn’t figure out what to do with the screws that came in the package. I know the instructions said to insert the screws, but I skipped that step and things seem to be just fine.

Works Well....

I got this for my Berkey, I have the bigger size Berkey and this stand holds it with no problem. It has these little screws that you're supposed to screw the flimsy cardboard circle piece onto the wooden pieces, but there aren't any pre-drilled holes, and I couldn't get them to go in the wood with just a screwdriver. One day I may get around to trying to get them drilled in with a drill, but for now it works and I'm not worried about it.

Pilot holes more work than expected

I did note that this item’s description said one must drill their own pilot holes to attach the flat layer onto the legs. I did not expect it to be so difficult. I used a dremel and measured out where each hole should be. I still had difficulties putting it together. I got this as an Amazon Warehouse product, so at about $18 instead of $23. That’s really the only reason I got it.

They're OK

These little stands get the job done. The quality is OK, not great. The disk at the top that the water crock sits on is composite, not real wood, but I'm ok with that because once the crock is there you don't see it. I'd hoped for better quality but I'm happy enough with this. I ordered two.

Who packed this?

I'll be returning this next week. I second the comments in several of the other one-star reviews: The wood is cheap, and it would probably take one leak or spill to ruin the circular support/base. Mine came with two of the legs off (one vertical part of each cross-bar); the other leg on each cross-bar is securely attached so it seems like someone didn't glue their side properly. Most annoying of all, there are NO screws, and NO "leveling feet." It's just the wooden cross-bars and legs, and the particle-board support. (Mine did at least have the holes predrilled.) The packaging was intact, but I still checked the box and the table where I opened it several times, just in case something had rolled out or something, but there's nothing. They simply weren't included. Just for S&G I put the 5-gallon water jug on the stand to see if it fit. (I saw the review that said her jug didn't fit, and wanted to make sure that the size will work before I order another one.) When I put the jug in place, one of the un-glued legs was apparently not perfectly aligned, and the weight of the water jug made it pitch forward. I'm feeling generous and giving it two stars, because if I wanted to invest the time, energy, and money in buying screws, glue, feet, and sealant and putting it all together properly, it would probably be passable. But if I'd wanted a build-it-yourself kit, I would have ordered that. And given that the stand was intended to support a rather expensive ceramic water crock, I'm not willing to just hope for the best. Very disappointed.

Wood looks great, but no holes for the 5 round support base screws?

Nice quality, but for the price I find it rather unacceptable to have to mark and drill the support base holes myself into the wooden frame, why is that? I have no markings to help center the round MDF base onto the wooden frame, so I need to use a measuring tape and make sure the base is equidistant to all 4 support legs, and THEN punch or pre-drill the 5 screw holes, all extra steps that you shouldn't have to get into with such a simple assembly. When is the last time you had to drill holes into the structural wood of an expensive, pre-fabricated stand, shelf or table? The hole marking and pre-drilling are not even part of the instruction sheet, it is only when looking at the pictures of the online Amazon product page (above) that I saw the instructions referring to these extra (mandatory) steps, otherwise I was certain it was a manufacturing mistake that the holes were forgotten. Luckily I got an amazon warehouse deal and the product came without any sign of damage.

Bonito y de buena calidad

Me gustó mucho la base, se ve tal cual la foto. El problema es que el soporte redondo va atornillado a la base, incluye tornillos para que la fijes, el problema es que no trae agujeros, de hecho pensé que tal vez era un producto defectuoso pero pedí otro y el otro venía igual. No entiendo porque no le hicieron los agujeros a la base de madera. Así que tendrás que tener un taladro y mucha puntería para que te quede derecho. En general le doy un 8 de 10.

POR NINGÚN MOTIVO LO COMPREN

La base está exageradamente cara para que llegue sin agujeros, tú tienes que armarla pero debes contar con taladro para hacer el orificio a los agujeros de los tornillos que aparte son muy pero muy pequeños. Esto no es un defecto, así es el producto Además de que el proceso de devolución es muy engorroso con este producto por ser extranjero. Me da gusto que ya no esté disponible y espero nunca lo vuelva a estar 0 de 10

Not worth, cheap looking

It looks cheap and not sturdy. I had to add some additional screws to be sure it will support my water jag. The biggest disappointment is the top. It's not wood, it's made from some hardened cardboard. This would be worth CAN $10, not more.
