Not durable

These shoes seemed nice but they didn’t last long. They started falling apart after a few months and the soles wore thin. They also run about a half size larger than other shoes. I wouldn’t buy them again.

Ok, not great.

I love the look, but the soles are thin. I do a lot of sidewalk walking (10-12000 steps a day), and these are not up to that punishment. They are comfortable, and probably fine for someone in the 5000 step a day range… but not for me. 12/19/22 edit: upgrading to a four star. I have found out that the tight fit as you put them on is a huge advantage because they don’t slip as you walk in them. They are awesome shoes for driving, and after a couple treatments of waterproof spray do well in bad weather. Good traction, warm shoes… They are growing on me!

very impressed with quality and comfort.

I bought this exact same shoe from Nun Bush over 30 years ago, if it wasn't for my 7 month old lab chewing them up I wouldn't still be wearing them. I was very surprised to see that Nun Bush still made this same shoe but, I was even more surprised when I the new shoes came and I saw the quality was the same as my old shoes !! Thanks Nun Bush!!

Just don't make 'em like they used to

I like the off-road traction....I think the foot bed should be flatter (started getting some big toes tendinitis after a couple weeks of commuting on foot/transit) or the insole can be fuller. The construction at the back near the ankle is separating on of the shoes....on shoes that I have had for only months that haven't really been worn much in that time.

Excellent Rugged slip on shoes

I prefer rugged shoes in general and these shoes deliver just that. The fit was perfect for me (UK Size 10), The shoes are held in place very well especially around the ankles and there's little to no chance you'd accidently slip your foot out of the shoe. The grip is excellent on both smooth surfaces and in mud, inclined and flat. I've not had any water seeping in either (not yet anyways, have had them for a year now) and have walked them at muddy parks, country walks through farms and out in the rain and I think I'd get another year or two atleast out of them and lastly the finishing and the overall quality is very good indeed and they are easy to clean.
