So with this newer edition of Earthlite DLX the fleece detach from the heating pad making it washable which is a great improvement. Before you had to get it dry cleaned. They have also digitalized the remote so it is has a touch screen now. While this look more luxurious, it is not the most responsive and like with the previous version you have to press and hold for some time to get it all the way up to maximum heat. This can get a little tedious. With the more basic models you just have a few preset settings but they can be set with a single press which comes in handy when you are doing mobile services or when time is more limited. The comfort of this heating pad also means that it's a lot bulkier and while I can fit it into my massage table bag I cannot zip it closed. The thickness of the pad also means it can take a little longer but unless you're doing outdoor massages I usually don't find it to be a problem.

Works as expected very nice quality

My wife actually got this to use as a small heating blanket pad for the bed. You must know that it is designed to go over a table. However, it is a two piece design and a blanket heating element can be removed from within inside if you so, choose bottom line is very comfortable.

And all this time, I was worried that massage therapy would blow out my thumbs...

I bought this cover when my original Earthlite table warmer was fading after 4 years of daily use. Most items in my treatment room are from Earthlite, so I was confident in my purchase. After reading several reviews about the remote being a challenge to use, I purchased anyway, as I appreciate the quality and durability of Earthlite products. Those reviews were SPOT ON about the remote - it's absolutely ridiculous. The warmer itself is wonderful - heats very well and quickly, clients rave about the comfort, and I love the 10hr timer - but the remote itself is really making me question my purchase. I have strong thumbs. I have forearms like Popeye. This remote is giving me a run for my money!! Earthlite, I really hope you're digging deep to find a solution to this problem!! Considering you are a massage therapy/bodywork company, surely someone must have tested this and gotten some serious feedback!! I'm shocked that your name is proudly displayed on this remote... Love the table warmer, DESPISE the remote.

Plushy and toasty

A game changer for my house-call patients. Los Angeles doesn't get cold much but this winter has been a bit chilly, a good investment. Was on the pricey side but I can see why, the Sherpa is very thick which adds cushioning to my stiff table. I've gotten a lot of compliments. The only con is that it very bulky to transport but winter doesn't last long here so not that bothered. Also like other reviewers mentioned, the controls are a bit screwy, have to apply firm taps to get the buttons to operate especially when you have oil on your hands. The main reason why I chose this brand is because the cable is longer than most and I know the walls are usually far from the table so I don't have any issues. The Sherpa is also removable for washing. So in summer I'll probably just use the Sherpa.

The touch screen sucks

This would be an incredible product that works great EXCEPT for one completely insidious flaw which is that the touch screen barely responds to touch, you press it hard it works 40% of the time, u press it soft it works 25% of the time, there is absolutely no way to consistently get this dang screen to respond to human touch. I have colleagues who also use this product, and it is a consistent issue for everyone, not specific to me. Turning the thing on alone takes 3 straight minutes of smashing and/or gently pressing, tho if u just unplug it and plug back in it will turn on for 3 hours @ 119 degrees, but personally I really like to toast my clients so then I'm spending 45 minutes smashing buttons getting the heat up to 135. Anyway, it's completely nuts because it seems like they didn't test this product at all before sending it into production ?? Especially confusing cuz earth lite usually is pretty solid in my experience . Other than the touch screen : freece is soft, heats good, auto shut off good . Thank u for reading my review

Very comfy

The table warmer is very comfy however, the controller sucks! Your in a dimly lit room and there aren’t any buttons you can feel around for. The controller is a touch screen and is very difficult to know where the higher or lower button is to either raise the temp or lower the temp. I would never buy this again

Two Separate Items

I was bummed to realize that this is two separate pieces: the fluffy piece that goes on top of some electric wire embedded cloth. This is NOTHING like the old Earthlight Massage Table Warmer that I had for almost twenty years. I missed the return window on this, or I would have returned it. It's just not up to par with the previous style table warmer where you could not feel the electric wires and the fluff was not so thick.
