Great machine!

This thing works great! I have a 2 bay garage and I use the lowest setting and it takes about an hr to warm it up but this garage is not air tight not the product’s fault but very happy with the purchase!

I received this heater but had to get a 40lb propane tank. It can get my two car garage up to 70-80 degrees in about 5 minutes from about low 40s. I loved the heat but after 15 -20 minutes it get so hot I would have to turn it off. It was adjusted to the lowest temp but with a 15lb tank you can run it longer. The tank empty quickly maybe with in two hours of continuous use at the lowest setting.

I was very pleased with the volume of air moved. I heated my 8000 cu ft garage in 20 minutes on a 40-degree day. Needed to reduce to lowest output to avoid room getting too warm. Relatively quiet. Well made.

Good heater

I've only just gotten this unit this morning but I can already tell it will do the job it was purchased for. With minimal assembly I connected it according to clear instructions to an 11lb propane tank and plugged it in. This heater throws a tremendous amount of heat for its size, quite quietly I will add. I've done two things others might find useful: I laid the propane line in the sun on a warm day to soften it a bit, then coiled it loosely anticipating the fact it will not be the most flexible thing when it's -40 in my 1000 sq/ft high ceilinged shop. And second, I purchased a short power bar with an on/off switch for obvious reasons. I plan to rig up to a 115v furnace thermostat to automatically turn the unit off when temps get above a desired setting, but I will still need to depress the cold start bypass button to fire it up. The fan will come on when temps fall, notifying me it's time to ignite it. Not ideal but fine imo. It clearly uses fuel like nobody's bidness, but it's a propane heater, not a Prius. It's actually very good at converting fuel into useful heat, very, very fast. I'm fairly confident my money has been well spent, but I assure you should things not meet with my expectations I shall say so, here. Edit: the temperature in my shop dropped to -21C a short while back but this heater quickly warmed it to +12 in 15 minutes! On low -- and with ample ventilation I must add -- it makes winter work quite pleasant. I get about a day out of 20lbs of propane and the CO detector says it's safe. Whoosh and it's gone! But lots of toasty heat. Now scavenging the countryside for an unwanted 500lb tank, or bigger...

Très bon rendement, chaleur vive. Mais j'ai installé un intérrupteur unipolaire car ca venais agaçant de déconnecter et de reconnecter quand la chaleur atteinte était acceptable. Utilisation très facile, et démarre très aisément même par temps très froid. Very good performance, lively heat. But I installed a single-pole switch because it was annoying to disconnect and reconnect when the heat reached was acceptable. Very easy to use, and starts very easily even in very cold weather.

Warming up the shop

While I seek out and bought this just in case my water pipes froze again of course it hasn't got cold enough for this to happen. So I ended up using it to heat one of my outside sheds while I was working in it works great heats up the large area very quickly it's very quiet and is very economical on the use of propane I'm very pleased.
