Recently I found one of these types of puzzles at Walmart, it was a skull, I bought it as an impulse buy, and when I unpacked my bags from the shopping trip I left the skull puzzle on the kitchen table. The next day, my brother walked into the house from whatever friend's house he had run off to, came to the kitchen, put down the bag with his laptop, saw the puzzle on the table sat down, and said "Hey, Amelia, we should build this." So I then spent thirty minutes hanging out with my brother, perhaps the first thirty minutes I've actually sat down with him in like a month. He and I had a blast, and when he looked at the other puzzles they had he thought the sharked looked cool, and so I ordered it. We sat down together when it came, and worked on it, and spent a little family time together. So far both of the puzzles I bought were a blast. They are a little complicated because the pieces are see through, and have different interlocks on both sides - so it's probably best to work on it with good light. The hardest part of the shark was the side fins, there is only one way to put them on, so if you can't quite get them, don't force them, just try swapping the fins or point them the other way. It's probably easiest to build from the head back, but that's just a point of preference. Overall, really fun puzzle, and I've already ordered another one (this time the t-rex).

Not able to puzzle
The pieces dosnt fit together properly, so I needed to glue it together piece by piece to be able to complete it. Looks is good after doing so, but its not possible to redo the puzzle.

Crystal Puzzle Challenge
This was the first crystal puzzle that I have ever put together, and let me say it was a pain the butt!!!!!!!!!!! I was so frustrated with the pieces falling apart when I touched it or set it down and I had lots of colorful words come out of my mouth, I even threw my glasses across the room! However, I can honestly say it was a nice challenge to the puzzle because it makes you think outside the box of how and where pieces can go. I'm not sure if there is a certain "trick" in putting these together to make them easier but one way I kept the pieces together was by putting a strip of tape across the pieces that I had connected already, this made things A LOT easier. So if you want a challenge and aren't happy with regular tabletop puzzles, this is the challenge for you!

Shark tails
Gave to my daughter for Christmas, she loved it. She started working on it, but like any plastic pieces, they slipped out of her hands. But she loves the challenge.

Perfect Gift
I purchased a quite a few of these 3D puzzles from this manufacture for Christmas gifts this year, and i would say that they are all equally amazing! I did purchase one from anotner manufacturer, and it was good, but no where near as good as these. Once you figure out the pattern and lay all of the pieces out in front of you, then the puzzle becomes less challenging. Some people might even be able to see this pattern the second they open the bag and look at the pieces.Even if you figure out the pattern quickly, chances are it'll keep you entertained for a good couple of hours if you're really interested in it. I gave one to a 12 year old and a 17 year old, and once they opened them up, they didn't put them down until they were finished. I got one for myself and my boyfriend also, and loved to put them together as a family. They are a great size, perfect to display on a bookshelf or a dresser when you are finished. Because the final piece snaps the whole thing together, it won't easily fall apart. These are a great gift for anyone any age, and a perfect family activity. :)
