“Bestest” scrubbers yet!
For years, l have used various dish scrubbers that would come off while using, get too little or too much soap dispensed, or too big to get into water glasses!! All that ended when l purchased the OXO style dish scrubber that has a flat front piece of plastic allowing good glass washing, easy on and off replacement sponges and an easy soap refill handle. What more can a lady/man want to wash dishes with!!

This is a two part review - the first part is for the seller, which in this case was Amazon. I ordered this product and received two packages of the dish SCRUB refills. Since I only use this dish sponge on my good glassware I was not happy. I contacted Amazon and they were great, they quickly sent a replacement of one package of the sponges. Amazon Customer Service was great. Now for the product review. As stated above, I only use these for the glassware which I do not put in the dishwasher such as crystal barware and wine glasses. I put on one of the sponge refills, used it for three times for two wine glasses each time and the sponge fell off of the surface to which it is mounted! I have had entire sponge heads that have refused to stay on the handle and have just dealt with it (rubber bands), but this time the entire sponge came off of the head - no fixing that. Not happy! Not only did I visit several stores where I used to be able to purchase the sponges to find the only thing they carry anymore are the scrub refills. Then Amazon sends me scrubs, when I clearly ordered sponges - to have the sponge last four days? Come on OXO, you can do better than that!! Do I need to worry about the product quality of OXO? I have been using this product for 12+ years and up to now it's been reliable. Regarding my choice of stars. Had I written a review 3-months ago, it would have been 5-stars, I was quite happy with the product. I have to replace the entire handle every couple of years and the sponge refills seem to last about 3-months or more. These longevities seem reasonable to me given the price and near daily use. I rinse them after use, the handle is placed in a holster in my sink so it can dry. I also run the sponge and handle through the dishwasher (no heat during the drying cycle) about once per week in an attempt to keep it clean and sterile. This has worked quite well for the 12+ years I have used the product. My only product improvements with a 5-star review would have been to inject the soft rubber handle with an anti-mildew chemical and to remove the 'fins' in the soft rubber that are designed to cushion the area where your thumbs rest. The fins tend to catch particulate and are extremely difficult to keep clean. The soap squirts out quite well, probably a bit too much so for glassware, but I tend to wet all my glasses and make one squirt of soap last for all my glasses. My present review of 2-stars is two-fold. First, product availablity of the sponges is non-existent outside of Amazon; second, it fell apart after four days of mounting it to the handle and using it three times?!

They are great! Makes dishes easier.
Works as expected! I was really surprised by these. I did not expect much, but they work. Not sure about the people saying theirs ripped...I have been using mine for several weeks now with no issue. I do dishes daily, and am pretty rough on them. Be warned, there are two versions. One for cleaning and one for scrubbing. This is the light cleaning version. I have a set of both. I use these for almost all my dishes, but for tough stuck on food you need to let the dishes soak (kind of ruining the point of these) or get the scrub pad out. Having both is recommended. Switching between the two takes a second. UPDATE: After nearly 3 months, I am almost at the point were I need to replace my first pad. This is with daily use. So durability on these suckers is great (obviously they don't last for ever).
