Good fit

I wish it had more insulated material. I can't find one better, though. I'm 6'4" and the extra large fit great. The sleeves don't have any insulated material on the wrist areas.

Definitely room for mid and base layer.

I am 2x in regular shirt and this is huge. I needed room for layers 22 degree weather.

I am ising Columbia products for some 25 years now. Wasnt disappointed this time also. Althought very thin jacket is warm. Good quality materiały used. I am 6.4 and about 230lbs and XL/TG is more than needed meanibg you can wear a lot under which is extremelly important here in Alaska where I live right now ))

Great Jacket

I'm very happy with this coat.I bought this coat at the last minute before a trip to Montana. We had a trip planned to celebrate a friend's 50th in Whitefish, MT early October. We were watching the weather forecast and a cold front was expecting to bring record lows and snow fall for that time of year. I ordered this coat only a few days out from our departure. It arrived in 2 days as advertised. The coat did a great job keeping me warm in temps as low as 5°f. It's not very heavy or bulky, which I like.

Giant Ogre size hood.

Finally a jacket that's long enough to be warm...... ....It's a real shame that the hood is way too big so that it actually covers the entire face, and to make matters worse, it can't be removed nor does it have a draw string. Totally useless. Why would anyone use Shrek to get hood dimensions??

Not warm as expected

I ordered Columbia Omni-heat for my husband thinking it is warm enough for the cold Canadian winter. But I thought wrong. Not as warm as expected. My husband almost wants to return it but with the hassles of return shipment he decided to use it during fall season instead. Not worth for the price you pay. Omni-heat is not as warm as it described.

Warm and large fit!

A warm and comfortable jacket. The fit is large so I'd go a size down, I'm an XL in just about everything but the L I purchased fits great, and I can still get a sweatshirt on underneath with room to spare. Hood is a great fit, and just I could get my headphones on under the hood. I'm sure that with the correct layering this will get me through the Canadian winter with no problems. I paid just over $100 for the jacket which is probably the best value winter jacket I've ever purchased.

Amazing Jacket. For sure I'll buy more products from Columbia. It fits loose, so you should consider asking for a smaller size than you are used to. If you use XL, ask for L. Pros: - Quality - Keep you warm - Price - Omni-heat thermal reflective - Good looking - Many pockets -Zipper quality Cos - To me was not a problem, but is not the true size described

A warm and puffy winter jacket

Just received it this morning. Fast delivery and quicker than expected. Wore it to give it a try and hike in today’s freezing weather (-6 Celsius and feel -12 Celsius). Very warm and actually a little bit sweaty if fully sealed while hiking. Cold wind not penetrating and sharp difference with hood on or off. However the shell soft and silky and not anti-scratch. Did not dare to try hike through wild bushes. Would wear my Montague Falls II with a thicker shell when hiking in the wild.
