Great shoes, comfy for 10+ mile day hikes, some fraying/ tearing nothing detrimental.

Bought these shoes and wore them regularly before hiking through Zion National park. Very comfy and grippy over sandy rocks, wet rocks, mud, everything these shoes did it all. After 2 days i noticed some fraying along the waterproofing on the outside of the shoe and with a lighter i burned the fraying away and it hasn't come back since, i think it was just from the constant movement and environment. I did get a hole in the waterproofing from a rock, but it didn't seem to effect it much after walking though puddles and standing in a few inches of water i nvm felt my socks get wet. Are these comfy and great for moderate hiking? yeah these are awesome and check the boxes. Will these get you through something as rigorous as the entirety of the Appalachians? Probably not.

Great value and stylish to Columbia sportswear waterproof walking shoes.

I always like and appreciate a waterproof shoe. It rains so much during the rainy season I scramble every season to be ready so I don't have to get ready.A pair of Columbia sportswear waterproof walking shoes are all I need, they are the reason for the SEASON!

Like the title mentioned. It does run small. I love the boot so I’m going to return these and go up half a size and see if it fits better.

It is not intended for minus temperatures

Despite that I had ordered the wide size, it is still quite narrow. The length/size is ok. 29,5 cm=11,5 US size.

Best boots lite weight boots for the price hands down. Just wish they used quality material so it would last a life time. But then quality means heavy boots.

A little tight around the toes and not waterproof

More stylish but less durable than the Buxton Peak Mid II. Not waterproof. Toe is reinforced but the cloth exterior will tear easily on hikes with uneven footing. Toe area is tight on the non wide version.

Lightweight Adventure

I've been looking to replace my North Face Back To Berkley boots, which have been a great lightweight pair of boots I use in winter, and sometimes on trail in the Peak District. TNF have a great fit for the wide foot, and was hoping Columbia were going to be the same, I'd recently bought my son some Columbia, and he loves them, great support etc. I came across these for a very good price and ordered a pair Unfortunately the sizing on these were a little on the small and narrow for my size 12 feet, so I ordered them again in 13, and I can happily report that my wide size 12 feet are much happier in these 13s and there's a little room for some thicker winter socks. They're lightweight and comfortable for everyday use, more like a sturdier a trainer boot. I've not yet put them through any serious use yet, some light jogging to test the weight and cushioning and some walking. I will update in a few months. They look great, (all Black version) they're lightweight and supportive, but if you are of a wider foot, and need toe room, I'd size up. For reference I wear: The North Face, Vans, Nike, Asics size 12s Adidas 12.5 and have had to buy these in 13 to feel comfortable, but I do have a wider foot. I hope this info helps you
