Nice boot, but...

These boots are very comfortable overall, but there are a couple things that prevent a 5 star rating. The eyelets are too sharp on the edges and make getting a good, tightening pull difficult. The upper portion around the ankle is lacking padding and causes soreness around the ankle until a couple weeks break-in. The walking comfort is awesome! I cannot imagine these being used by a construction worker, but they are great for the 3-5 miles per day walking I do in a car dealership parts warehouse and service department. We'll see how they last over time, but for now I like them.

Comfortable shoes

I’ve had the shoes for a couple of weeks and so far they’ve been comfortable the only problem I can see happening is the shoelaces are gonna end up breaking from the sharpness of the eyelets. You can barely pull the shoe laces through the eyelets to tighten the lace up. I’m just curious how long it’ll be before they do break.

NOT for actual construction workers

I gave these 2 stars for comfort and waterproofing. My complaint is about the THIN rubber coating on the safety toes. After 2 DAYS of wear these boots had huge tears in them from bumping in to construction material. They are definitely not made for someone who actually works on a construction site, but more for the guy in the carhartt everything that drives around in the golf cart and always needs to make a phone call or go do some paperwork. Very extremely disappointed.

Very well built, good price.

Very nice boots. Well made and priced fair. However I have to return them only because I was bit by a snake on my right ankle and can't wear boots at all. The tops of the boots irritate the injury too much.
