Great pair of ray bans look great

Value for money, are not made in Italy and seems skittle plastic, but overall good product for the price, really confortable to wear

My husband bought a pair of these at a sunglass hut, and I fell in love with them. I am iffy about spending a ton on sunglasses though because I'm rough on them. I found these and decided to give them a try. They were $50 cheaper than his were, so I was hoping they would be okay. Mine are definitely authentic. My husband and I have compared them side by side with his identical ones that we know are authentic, and there is absolutely no difference. HOWEVER, these are definitely a display model or store return of some kind. One of my earpieces is ever so slightly bent, and the coating was cracked inside one side of the nose piece. They have no outwardly obvious flaws, so I am keeping them, because no longer than I own then they'll be banged up anyway, they were purchased at a good discount, and no one could tell there is anything wrong with them. If you are a major stickler for quality though, I'd beware.

Where's the Quality?

These are OK. Here's how I break the score out... Style = 5. Classic and will remain in style for many years to come. If anyone is looking for a "larger" version of the Wayfarer these are the glasses for you. You can wear these with anything and still look sharp. Quality = 2. 130 for these shades and they feel like something you pull off the drug store rack. They are very light and quite thin. I imagine my kids pulling them off my face and shattering them. My wife has 2 pairs of Kate Spade sunglasses (also made in Italy) and they are heavier, seem to be made from better materials and after 2 years of abuse still look great. And there were still 1/2 the price! Really. Low down. Fashionable? Yes. Buying the name more than quality. Hell yes. You see lack of quality in the real product and wonder why people reach for a knock off. (This review is not an endorsement for counterfeit activity.)

Well crafted, but still overpriced

I usually wear aviators, but these wayfarers fit my face perfectly. I wanted some glasses for my trip to Mexico, and saw these for $98 and bought them immediately. They aren't knock offs, but the Ray Ban box shows a little wear. My guess is these were a display item somewhere and was replaced. The carrying case for he glasses is in good condition save for a loose thread on one side that most likely occurred during manufacturing. The glasses themselves don't show any signs of ever being worn. The hinges don't creek and aren't flimsy like the glasses you would get at a mall booth. All in all, I'm very happy with these, but the price (thanks to Luxottica) is much too high for some plastic and a small amount of metal.

Good replacement style

I'm a Ray Ban lover. Been wearing this brand for years. The styles are great and for the most part they are well made. But what I really love about Ray Ban is the G-15 lenses. Optically perfect for me, and just the right tint of green. I'll admit I have been somewhat of a frustrated customer though. The glasses I wore for years were there Ray Ban Cats 3000. Despite being very popular, that style is no longer made. It was dropped when Luxotica purchased Ray Ban a few years back. I even wrote them a letter asking if they could make them again, but they just said "sorry"! If they knew what those glasses on going for on eBay they would start making them again! That being said, the style achieved here is like a hybrid of the Cats models and the Wayfarers. Close enough for me! So far I am very pleased with these. Enough actually to quit shopping for vintage pairs on auction sites!

You wont regret ordering these, try them on somewhere first

I was reluctant to order these due to the people who said the pair they ordered came used but mine are definitely brand new, I tried these on at Sunglass Hut to make sure they fit before I ordered them and they definitely, if you have a bigger face that usually makes sunglasses look small you should try these. The nose bridge is just a little wide just so you're aware. Only negative i saw was that they were shipped in a regular yellow envelope lined with bubble wrap but im assuming they would have worked with me if they were damaged.

Not like the Ray ban of old

So, I bought these as an extra pair of Ray-Ban's. I thought they would be a good addition and something I could travel with. I have to tell you when I got them. I was seriously disappointed. There is nothing more than light weight plastic junk. You can buy better quality no-name sunglasses on Amazon for 1/5 of the price of these and get a nicer more durable pair. It's a major disappointment because I have a couple of pair of Ray-Ban's and they used to make them really well.

FAKE

These are not real RayBans, you can tell the plastic used is Not Authentic and feels beyond cheap. Also you can feel the sharp mold lines from where the molds connected when making the glasses. The glasses weren't even straight, the arms were crooked and when you put it on your face it's not straight. The lenses are NOT polarized. I have a pair of Real RayBan Wayfar that are polarized. Soon as you look at the light off a car or your phone you can tell. The lenses on this product are cheap plastic dollar store glasses.

Utterly shocked, as I took the risk to buy from Amazon, and two good things happened. 1. Of all the online platforms this was priced at 11800/-, and I got it on Amazon for 9800/-. 2. It's manufactured in the month if May 2022 and in mint condition better than any other store. Great buy for sure.

Good fakes. Crumpled box.

Fake. Really good fakes. I scratched the glass on a real pair of these and wanted to replace them, so I was able to side-by-side compare them. These are significantly lighter, I think the lenses might be plastic. The RB etching on the glass is very faint and on the back instead of the front. Some of the printing (logo placement on glass) are also slightly off. Without being able to compare side by side, you'd probably have a difficult time seeing these as fakes. The box it came in was a crumpled mess too. If you're okay with fakes these might be okay but I'm going to return them.
