Great Boot!

I used to work construction and landscaping and have gone through lots of boots. Now I’m managing a warehouse and required to wear steel toe. I looked at plenty of steel toe shoes looking for something lightweight. I still wanted a “Boot” look but keep it light. I’m very pleased with weight and comfort of these. I would buy again for this price.

Sturdy, but lightweight. Stand up to tough jobs!

Beautiful packaging as usual. It’s hard to find a boot for my hubs who works in Storm Restoration, especially this year. Going back to a trusted brand was smart. He’s a guy. The fact that he said “is there a subscribe and save for these,” says enough. We will roll with new styles, but another brand, for this type of work is out of the question.

I bought these from Amazon Warehouse at a discounted price. The brand of safety toe shoe I was wearing to work were a little on the heavy side and the laces didn't stay tied very well. Like a lot of shoe manufacturers it's hard to remember the models with so many available. I did remember wearing a pair of Timberland Pro work shoes for well over a year and being very happy with them. So I ordered this pair and started wearing them to work. The fit is exactly what I expected. I don't wear Wides and these were not wide or sloppy. The comfort and fit are great, but the weight is very important to me as well. I work from 10 to 12 hour shifts on a concrete floor and don't like a heavy work shoe. This model is one I will buy again. I have been very happy with this pair. They don't feel like a work shoe and the sole doesn't seem slippery. *Update* I recently noticed a problem I didn't have with the first pair of this model of boot. I developed soreness on the ball of my big toe on the right foot. It's almost like stepping on pins. I don't have this problem with any of my other shoes or boot. I changed inserts to a type I wear in all the work boots I have had and that didn't help. It's possible that it's the way I walk and this particular shoe. I deducted one star from my rating.

Endured everything I threw at it

Bought these to replace a cheapo 36 dollar pair of steel toes I bought from Walmart that got torn apart from the hard labor I put them through. The comfort is night and day difference, even when on my feet for the entire day my feet were hardly sore by the end of the day. The laces were made of a strong material that even after getting snagged on jagged metal still held together. The only visible damage these boots sustained with my use was slight wear and peeling of the rubbering at the front and a slash into the top from sharp metal sheeting that only slightly cut the leather covering the steel. Whatever labor job you find yourself in these boots will definitely hold up.

Not worth the money.

Day one the rubber around the toe ripped open. Roofing Nail with cap went through the bottom of the boot and penetrated the interior sole. If the nail was any longer it would have penetrated my boot. Size runs a bit small. Should have gotten a half size bigger. Looks ok, but for $120 definitely not worth. I could have spent $60 and got a better quality. Would return if possible. But I used them like boots day 1 of owning them. Not the worst, but definitely not the best pair of boots. Spend your money elsewhere.

Time will tell

This pair of boots are a replacement for the pair I bought last fall. What I like about these boots are that they are light. It is like you are walking on air. Even though the warranty was for a year and these last eight months, I was impressed enough that I ordered them again. The picture above is what the old pair looked like after eight months
