Warm enough for moderately cold temperatures.

This material adds a decent amount of warmth at a light weight. Just tested over the weekend camping/hiking in 30°-40° weather and they worked well. The only negative is that it's rather porous, so if you're wearing these and, say a pair of jeans, the wind will permeate and you'll still feel chilly. If you wear a wind-proof outer layer, then these work well. They don't seem to be made of a wicking material, but they aren't advertised as such. With that in mind, this product works well as part of a layering strategy. Also, be aware that this is the most "basic" product on the "coldness" scale that this company makes. Don't expect this to keep you warm if you're going to be out in sub-freezing temps for any significant time.

Larges are humongo!

I typically wear a Large in mens pants (when they are even sized that way) but these were enormous for larges. They definitely don't fit the way they are intended. I'm not overly impressed with the quality either but for the price, I guess I got what I paid for. If you are wanting really nice base layer gear, this is not your route.

Comfortable fit.

Sizing was as expected. These are a great base layer for added warmth. These are great for when you need added warmth but not designed for extreme cold conditions.

Warm and Comfortable

Absolutely Great ! These are my first pair of ColdPruf. They really keep out the wind and cold. I went with the large (36-38), even though my waist is 34, because I'm 6 feet tall and I'm planning on a little shrinkage. They fit just fine. I was completely satisfied, so I purchased a pair of ColdPruf Platinum (Grey) also. This was a good Winter to have QUALITY thermal underwear. For extra warmth, sometimes I wear flannel lined jeans over them. Worth every penny !

These or not your everyday waffle material

You don't see long johns like this anymore it's made out of the same material the union suits are made of you know the long johns with the flap in the back...lol

ColdPruf: Perfect fitting thermals

Just as I expected as it was the same with the shirt; I ordered the XLT since I am 6'2" and 270 lbs. I have included a screen shot for size questioning and can attest that the sizes are true to what the image says from the company's website.

You can find something no worse than this for a couple bucks cheaper

'Dual layer' is misleading - it may be two materials, but it's only one thin layer. Also, these are not spandex/compression-style underwear. As low-end thermal bottoms go, it's not as warm as most waffle-weave styles, but not as bulky either. Take your pick. You can find something no worse than this for a couple bucks cheaper.

Warm and cozy

I got these for my husband who can't stand the cold and starts to wear Long Johns in September. He said these were nice and warm with out being too bulky under his pants. I did notice on one of the 2 pair I got that the foot hole is small. This may be a fluke as the other pair is fine.
