Roomy with a Nice Cushion

I have bought a lot of orthotics and many different types of shoes from different brands in the last few years because of some foot problems. This one has worked really well and better than most of them. The shoes are lighter than many other competitors. They are deep enough to accommodate two inserts, and there is ample room for the toes. They have soft cushions and stiff outer sole--a great combination if you are suffering from foot problems. Putting them on and removing them also easier than with many other brands. Plus, no leather! I had to stand on my feet for 7-8 hours a few days this week, and Proper ultra made it less painful. A big thank you to Amazon for the try before you buy program!

Fantastic Shoe!!

So, I typically wear a size 17 shoe, although I can do size 16 in a boot. Finding shoes that fit is always a challenge and has been so since I was probably 14 years old or so. I desperately needed a new pair of sneakers and ran across this brand. I've never heard of the brand, but looking at their website, I was satisfied it would be a good product. However, I had no idea these shoes would be this fantastic!! I was impressed first by the overall look of the shoe. I don't like gaudy shoes and these are nice enough and professional enough for me to wear to work at the hospital. In addition, I am absolutely thrilled with how comfortable these are!!! Being on my feet a lot makes it imperative I have a comfortable shoe and these fit the bill! I get a little leery purchasing shoes online because you never know what you may get. Although many companies make the return process easy, it can still be a bit of a hassle. With that said, I am certainly not returning these! I love them!!! An additional benefit is they're good for people with diabetes, like myself!

Great for stability, Disappointing arch support

Tried to save some money. My husband was very happy with his last Propet sneakers. Thought I’d try the brand. I have large, wide feet & need Men’s sizes. Selected this style for the supposed orthopedic benefits. That was a joke. Outer sole is Great for stability but inner sole is flat and lacks arch support. What a disappointment! it’s not any better than $80 sneakers from Kohls. Should have spent the extra money and purchased New Balance with the built-in Arch support & stability.

very comfortable, but don't last long

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. However they aren't the most durable. The upper material seemed a bit thin and didn't look very durable, but that wasn't an issue. It's the soles that are an issue. After about 6 months the soles start to wear at an angle for me which puts pressure on the side edges of my feet and caused really bad pain.

Good fit for a 12 wide

This shoe is very well made and looks lie it will last. Husband is still wearing around the house to make sure all is well as he has metatarsal issues and heel pain. But with some adjustments not related to the shoe itself I think this will be a fine shoe. Its very good looking and the wide is as advertised. We are very hopeful as we will then purchase other Propet shoes.

Soo Comfortable

Propet has always been my go to shoe when my gout flares up. They are extremely wide and comfortable and help me to stand and walk with gout in my foot. I even started wearing them even when i dont have a gout flare because they are so comfortable and provide so much support you can wear them all day and your feet or back dose not hurt.

No airflow

The description indicated breathable mesh - which this shoe does not have. I'm finding they make my feet hot and sweaty. I will keep them as a winter sneaker. They are wide and soft to walk on
