The plates don't break easily.
The color and that they didn't break easily. I used them for a Tea Party for some of my great-grands to tell them how the world was created by God and to tell them about Jesus Christ.

Good Hard Plastic Day-Glo Plates For Animal Feeding or Human Snakes.
These plates are truly day-glow in color and they suit my purpose perfectly. I think I must feed most of the feral cats in Broward County and the re-usable hard plastic plates in the 6" size allow each cat to enjoy their singular dining experience. These plates can be washed repeatedly and so last a long time. The are priced very well and arrived just as expected. My main reason for ordering the colored plates this time over my usual clear plate order is because I was stepping on the clear plates in the dark and they were smashed into a million pieces. This contrary to my family's opinion that I wanted to create a more festive mood for my feline friends. The additional benefit is that all my Amazon Prime purchases are made through Amazon Smile with a portion of each sale being donated directly by Amazon to the charity of my choice - the ASPCA. With no additional effort on my part, my cats and I are helping less fortunate animals. Makes for a win-win-win for all parties to the transaction. I recommend these and will certainly buy again when needed.

Great for parties. Awesome Color! Not the best for eating off of
Great color and transparency! Hit these plates with blacklight and watch them glow! Only drawback though is that they are pretty thin. If you’re using them in the traditional sense to eat off of (I use them for artwork I create so this isn’t an issue) you can’t count on them to not bend if you’re serving up a substainal meal. I do have them crack on me to every now and then. Overall though I just love them for their use in my art projects. The color and size is perfect.

Good value
Pro: These ship fast, are inexpensive, and are great colors! Con: They are relatively flimsy. If you know this and are ok with it, I'd buy them. They just were borderline acceptable for a taco dinner we did. I would buy again, but not serve something like a steak or lasagna on them. Lighter fare - no probs! All in all, easy to buy and skip the store, served their purpose with fun colors

Perfect for Party
I recently ordered these plates for a neon theme party. I had to return because my planning group had strict colors they were using. I would have keep if it was my own party. They are GREAT quality. I highly recommend ordering and is a must buy for a neon themed party.

More than half of the plates had to be thrown away since they were all cracked. Very disappointed.

just what I like
These are pretty ordinary plastic plates...but I just hate a flimsy paper plate. The colors are very bright when stacked together... a bit less when you actually have them in hand, separate, more a "clear" color. You can reuse them... hand wash only. These are the 9" rounds... with the curved edge there is about 8 3/4" of flat space - just eyeballing it. Perfect for appetizers or dessert. I use these for "seconds" when people have already put aside their originals. They arrived quickly (i have prime) and in excellent condition with some other items I ordered.

Not very good as plates. Not great for blacklight parties either.
These plates aren't terrible, but they are far from great. When comparing to paper plates, the strength is similar however where paper plates will bend and still hold your food, these plates will snap and make a mess, so I would rate them weaker than paper. If you double them up, they're actually quite strong and almost avoids the risk of breaking entirely, but who wants to buy twice as many plates just to make them usable. I bought these specifically for a blacklight birthday party, and that's where I'm even more disappointed. The orange, pink and green are ok under blacklight, but really not very bright at all unless you AGAIN double them up. The blue colour has absolutely no UV reflective or glowing properties whatsoever, so in other words, you can't see them under blacklight. Overall, these are a disappointment both in usability and in blacklight so I'd recommend looking elsewhere for something better.
