LOVE this style Hummingbird feeder

After years of having 3 of the little cheap/red Walmart feeders hanging off the side of the porch - I ventured out this year and bought this one - - Hubby said "Bad idea - that glass is too shiny - they'll be leary of it" - - WRONG BUCK WHEAT!!! They LOVE it - - didn't make a hill of beans difference to THEM - We're in our over the hum on mid 70's but we're still very active around our home and gardens - - but we love to come together when we each stop - late afternoons and watch all the wildlife feed at our 2 feeders at our front and back porch stands -- and we also love to watch the Hummingbirds flitter around the feeders that hang close to our porch swing - - But OH how I love love love these feeders - - I had said that this spring I was making a cozy summer retreat on our back porch - and those old cheap looking red feeders were just not going to fit - - so I found this one and ordered it - - may end up ordering another - we'll see how they manage with one - - but we LOVE LOVE LOVE this feeder - and they flutter to this glass one just like they did those old red plastic ones - -

Nice product. Perfect size.

The bottle is the perfect size for homemade hummingbird nectar. 1 cup water and 1/4 cup sugar. It comes apart to clean easily. I am not sure why some complain it is too small. If you change the nectar every 3 or 4 days as suggested, you don't want to put more than the typical recipe out. I put mine out and the hummers found it right away.

Hummingbirds love it!

I purchased this a couple months ago, and the hummingbirds have really enjoyed it. And I enjoying seeing the birds in the yard. It's easy to fill and clean. My only issue so far has been that the hanger broke. We live in an area with very high winds, and a trampoline traveled three yards (like neighbors yards, not 9 feet) and took out my feeders. This one survived, but the hanger was broken. I'm using a small bungee cord until I find something else. I do love it though, I just wish the hanger hadn't broken.

Hummingbirds love it!

My first purchase of this feeder lasted over 10 years. This is my second one. It is easy to fill, and easy to clean. Because the top of the base is metal, I place mine in the shade. The hummingbirds love it.

A very nice hummingbird feeder.

This is a nice-looking, apparently well-made hummingbird feeder, which is quite an upgrade from the plastic ones I've always used. It seems as though it will be easier to clean than those too, but time will tell.

Nicely designed, glass bottle that fits into a base. Easy to fill with sugar water with antique look. Hummingbirds have been coming every 15-20 minutes to feed, gave me enough time to photograph them.

No birds yet

Looks really great but none of the nectar-feeding birds in my Kenyan garden are interested yet, after 2 months. Maybe I need to add more sugar to the red water.

Buen Producto

Tal como se ve en la imagen, lo considero un lujo por el precio, puesto que es una botella de cristal casi común de unos 450 ml y la base no se ve del mejor plastico, pero en calidad supera por mucho los que encontre en los "mercados locales" que si son mas baratos pero esteticamente no se le acercan. Si lo buscas más por estética que por funcionalidad es buena opción.

Las flores parecen corcholatas y no son atractivas para los colibrís.

El bebedero es hermoso y muy resistente, me gusto mucho porque se ve muy vintage aunque las flores son horrendas parecen corcholatas volteadas de refresco o cervezas jaja, los colibrís venían al jardín a tomar néctar de las flores pero a mi bebedero nunca le hicieron caso, paso un semana, me canse y lo baje, lo lave, le quite las flores con cuidado que vienen con una goma a presión y le coloqué flores artificiales (sus flores favoritas son amarillas o anaranjadas brillantes), después de la mejora que hice los tenia comiendo del bebedero como a la hora, muy bonito el producto mejor que muchos que eh visto pero deberían de cambiar las flores si quieren adquirirlo, tampoco es complicado solo es poner las flores y atravesarlas con la gomita de las flores y listo, por si solo no es atractivo para los colibrís aunque a la vista de uno es hermoso, eso se arregla con flores artificiales y listo, saludos!.

Muy pero que muy bonito solo...

Es muy hermoso se lo regale a mi mamá que ya tenía uno peor de plástico de esos que venden en las tiendas grandes, y este es sin duda es de un muy buen material el simulando un envase es de total cristal con metal de buena calidad la base me desepciono creí que sería de metal ya que en la descripción lo leí pero realmente simula muy bien el metal lo notarias al tacto de eso en mas estoy contento.

Es muy bonito, solo que no he encontrado algo con que limpiar el cuello de la botella, pues el alimento sedimenta y es difícil de alcanzar. (Lo preparó en casa)
