My Kitten Loves It

This fountain is sturdy and so far, a month into using it, it works as it should, however there needs to be some rethinking about its filter assembly. There is a tiny plastic to hold the cord down, which pops off no matter how many times I put it on. I cut a tiny slit into it to keep it down. Once I got the hang of it, I was able to change the filter without a struggle. Better documentation would be helpful. My cat likes it, and the water stays clean.

Life Saver

Outstanding, excellent quality. Helped saved my Bengal. My cat is extremely finicky about her water, leading to a hospitalization for a week resulting from a severe kidney issue. Had one of the plastic fountains and conventional stainless bowls, but she'd still search for water (while I was using the sink, in the shower, dogs bowl, etc.) So pretty clear was not meeting her approval. Took a few days for her to get comfortable with this new fountain before deciding it's the cat's meow. Combined with RO/DI water, problem solved.

Quiet and easy to clean

This was recommended to my by a friend when I complained about how noisy our previous pet fountain was. The previous was so loud that I kept thinking we had a major water leak in the kitchen. It was metal and kept getting water stain build up also. This fountain is super quiet, quality ceramic and easy to fill. The cat loves it too.

Highly recommend

My cats love this fountain. It’s so quiet. They’re drinking a lot more water now. The porcelain is great for keeping bacteria away. Definitely worth the cost.

This is the way

Bingo. 2 cats, 1 little dog. Pain in the rear with different needs and preferences. This fixed everything. Bubble well at top, conical water cascade, and basin. They usually drink more with moving water bowls but this got them drinking much much more. Extremely easy to tump for a quick water change. We clean the filter once a week, and the ceramic cleans easier and completely. No weird pet spit film like our metal bowl. No scaling like the pet waterfall fountain that ate pumps. We wanted them drinking more and this delivered.

Best cat investment by far

We love this thing! Its quiet, the only noise coming from it is when the water is low or my cat is slurping up the water, she loves it! LOL She is a clean indoor cat and has had no hair balls. We (my Husband) takes it apart for cleaning once a week. We have really enjoyed watching the cat and now the puppie sit and drink for minutes... Thats a big deal!

We were looking for a quieter fountain and this one definitely fit the bill. There's absolutely no noise other than the motor which is extremely quiet. Our cat loved the fountain, it's easy to clean and holds a decent amount of water, easy to assemble/disassemble and is almost all dishwasher safe. The issue, which I have never seen before from this company and material of fountain, is the bottom of the fountain condenses. The water is from the tap and somehow the bottom base of the fountain would condense with a bunch of water. Fortunately Amazon has superb customer service and resolved this issue in less than 5 minutes. I will be buying another fountain to replace this one as the product itself is fantastic but quality control might be something to improve on.

The best slimy fountain I had until the cats broke it

I have been looking for the best noiseless ceramic or stainless steel cat fountain for a while and this one was by far the top of the list. It is very quiet: I have sound sensitivity and had to return my previous fountain which had water dropping from too high making a constant waterfall noise. This fountain does get slimy and dirty pretty fast I have to say. I clean it and 2 days later its a swamp of hairs, calcium build up and slime. But I could have managed the "dirty quickly" part if it wasn't that being made of ceramic, my savannah cats ended up last night going feral on it (I guess, as I wasn't first hand witness); I found the poor fountain tilted over, empty, the cover part rolled on the side and the ceramic tube "pump wire protector" completely severed from the base. I guess the cats weren't too fund of the slime in the end... or there's a poltergeist that hated the thing.

Great Product for Small Pets

The dog loves it. Far more sanitary for small pets than a typical drinking bowl where wet food from their beard tends to make the drinking water slimy. I top it up every second day and it is great. The only issue is that, initially, the charcoal from the water filter tends to seep into the drinking bowl. This necessitates more cleaning than should otherwise be required.

Nice quiet fountain!

The cats love this fountain, it's runs quietly, and they took to it right away. I have the pagoda style and this one is easier to clean, it's not so heavy. These fountains are a lot of work to clean, I have the brush kit, and also use q-tips as slime can get in the nooks and crannies of the components. But I think it's worth it as it does encourage them to drink.

Quiet, easy-ish to clean, cat approved!

Quiet, dishwasher safe except 1 part, I skipped the (replaceable $$) filter and foam which I think makes it easier to keep clean as there's less to gunk up. Only downside so far is cat lapping at the top causes splashing onto the floor
