They work well

I like these straps. They work well, but one thing that bothered me...one strap was good thick leather and the other strap was noticeably thinner leather. They work fine, but I would have liked them to be matching in weight.

Arrived promptly and are good quality. Nice size, but are still quite stiff - will probably take some time to "wear them in". Would have been nice to know the size of the hole, as it is quite a tight fit for 10mm rope.

There weren't any instructions and since I was putting them on rope reins, I had to buy some leather and figure out how to attach them and have it all lay straight. The holes on the straps were too far in to just use the clips on the end of the reins.

Wiuld have given it a five but...

I would give it a five, except the leather ties were old and brittle. And all over the leather was dust. Not sure if I can even find the right size leather ties, would be nice if they could send me some.

Very cheap leather, the holes for the reins are very very little. Will have to cut the hole bigger to make the reins fit. Guess it will work for now

Nice style and size but dry as cardboard.

Size and style was perfect for me. They are medium size. Didn't measure but most likely about 7 inches. They came hard as cardboard and actually looked it as well! Took an overnight soaking in neatsfoot and water to rehydrate and soften and there are still a few spots on the one strap that are on the dry side. If I wasn't stuck I would have returned. Too bad they purposely package leather the way they did.
