Looks nice, quality made and works well. I wish the water output is more than 1.2 gpm and this alone earns it 3-star instead of 4-star.

Bathroom Faucet

The Pfister Pfirst Modem LG142 -0600, as other reviewers have noted, has a very modern and quality look to it. It will go well in our newer house. I have put in many faucets through the years in various houses. This Pfister Faucet is designed for a bathroom and does not come with a deckplate. The faucet is connected through one hole in the sink. If you have three holes in the sink deck, you must order the deckplate in order to cover up the other two holes. The faucet is connected through the middle hole. The installation is simple and very much like most of the faucets that I have installed. The directions, which in my opinion can make or break a product, are excellent. If you have never done this before, do not be afraid to try it. All of the parts needed come in the box, except the deckplate and of course the water tubes which are needed from the wall or floor water lines. These connect to the bottom of the faucet. No faucet comes with these since the length is determined by where the line comes into the sink area. This is where the shut off valves are located. The drain is also standard and easy to install having good directions with pictures and words. The lever action on the faucet has just the right firmness and the water stream is very good. We have a well which does not have the force of city water. As with most faucets today, there is a lifetime warranty. I have found that with Pfister, if you have a problem, they will just send you the part needed. I have done this a couple of times through the years. This is a quality faucet and will likely last many years.

Very high-end looking.

The Pfister Pfirst Modern LG142-0600 Single Control Bath Faucet in Polished Chrome has such clean lines and function that it immediately made our bathroom sink feel like a new set. Its single handle lever is easy to control water pressure and temperature and the polished chrome is as beautiful as it appears in the photos. It was easy to install with clear directions and required no extra parts. I am thoroughly satisfied with this Pfister lavatory faucet and will be upgrading my bathtub faucet very soon.

Sleek, modern, works great, no deckplate

-First, no deckplate is included, despite pictures to the contrary. -The feature to prevent scalding is really neat, never had a sink like that before -Other than looking all over for the "missing" deckplate, install was straightforward with no surprises -It's not low-flow, but it is a slightly reduced flow rate. I personally add an aerator after the fact that slows down the flow rate even more. -Seems sturdy, Pfister is one of the best brands out there, I think it will last a long time
