Excellent for covering my entire garden
This year I found that deer droppings had gotten onto my garden soil. After the garden was tilled, I found that deer droppings may contain ecoli bacteria, which meant that I wouldn't be planting anything in the garden this year. I had learned that black plastic would heat up the soil and kill any bacteria, plus weeds, if left on the garden for a few months. This 6 mil plastic was easy to handle and two pieces side by side covered the affected area. I now have tomatoes growing in gro bags which are on top of the plastic.

Sturdy!
There isn't any "mulch sheeting" that will withstand a stick to poke through, like this one of course will get punched through unless such debris is first removed or at least mashed down into the ground. This sheeting is wonderfully thick, incredibly easy to work, and I am hoping it will withstand a couple years of UV exposure. Every petroleum based sheet will deteriorate, and I have experienced other brands of thinner thickness that might as well as been called "disposable." Best to invest the few extra bucks and able to re-use the sheeting for a few years.
