Not hard plastic

I got these 10 years ago and I wanted to find a similar product for granddaughter. I got another brand that were hard thin plastic. I don’t like them they make loud noise when they hit the wood floor. I’m so happy I found this brand again after so many years. These have a more rubber feel to them.

Perfect for toy kitchen set!

This is the perfect set for my toddler! I just bought her a kitchen set from Amazon as well. She loves preparing me food and serving it. This is a great set for kids to play in their toy kitchen! A must buy!

Good product but not choking hazard

It’s a great product to teach toddlers food. Only concern is quite a few items are choking hazards. The French fries, chips, egg plant and hot dog are t great items to be around a teething toddler. Definitely a choking hazard. Overall other items are great.

You get what you pay for. It’s not bad, but it’s not great.

It’s okay for the price. My daughter got a play kitchen for Christmas from her aunt so I wanted to stock it right away but I’m on a budget with the holidays and all so these looked like it had some variety. However, I’m quite disappointed to find that the boxes food is just plain cardboard. My 19 month old would trash them within a day so I’m not even going to bother giving them to her. I have nicer quality play food in my wishlist that I’m planning to upgrade her with come her birthday in May. Some of the food pieces are nicer, the chips have texture, I don’t think she will crush anything with ease. The ketchup bottle is gonna be a hit with her I already know. I’m not sure why there are 5 hot dogs and only 1 bun though or why they couldn’t make the hot dogs a different color than the bread. I should have caught that in the photos and the whole bread colored burger is not at all convincing. And like everyone else, I’m wondering what the hell this yellow half sphere is supposed to be. Grapefruit maybe? But why is it yellow then? And what is with the bread colored meat patty? It’s a mystery. I don’t know why decent play food is so expensive but if you’re on a budget, this will do fine. I would say it is totally giftable as it comes in the bucket. I like the bucket quite a bit. Overall, it’s not bad for the price. My 19 month old isn’t gonna care enough. But I am looking forward to the upgrade come her birthday. Going for the New Sprouts brand next time.

Great for playing “store”

My grandkids really had fun “shopping”with this play food. The little cardboard boxes are great, so I just saved some of the real ones so they could use them too. They have a cash register that scans their food with a “beep” just like the real thing. I think it’s a good toy but a little pricey and not as durable as I’d like, but easily solved
