Naším posláním společnosti London Sip je poskytovat vám nejkvalitnější nástroje k výrobě kávy a čaje v kvalitě kavárny z pohodlí vašeho domova.

It’s an average press
This could be a personal preference but I wasn’t a huge fan of this press. The flavor was average, and it took more effort and patience (and clean up) than brewing in a pot or using an espresso maker. It’s average.

Good Value
The London Sip French Press Coffee Maker is a good value. It is one liter in size, and it makes a good pot of coffee. For the last several years I have been using a Bodum Chambord 1928-16US4 French Press Coffee Maker. The Bodum coffee maker costs twice as much as the London Sip, but the Bodum is much better constructed in my opinion. For example, the Bodum’s stainless steel plunger is significantly more substantial than the London Sip’s plunger. Due to its good price point, I am giving the London Sip French Press Coffee Maker 4 Stars. If you plan to use the coffee maker relatively rarely, then I would highly recommend that you buy the London Sip French Press. However, if you plan to use it on a daily basis, you would be better off paying more money and getting the Bodum Chambord French Press. For whatever it is worth, Amazon often has the Bodum Chambord 1928-16US4 French Press Coffee Maker on sale. Needless to say, that is the best time to buy it.

A Great French Press
Clean classic look. A solid build that should last a long time. Brings out the flavor of the coffee, Easy to clean. The plunger comes apart easily for a good cleaning to keep the flavor of the coffee pure. The only downside is a minor design flaw that allows the cape to gape. Overall, a great french press, I highly recommend it.

Replaced my old one
I am really happy with this! I tend to use a french press for 3 things: a regular hot coffee pour, an overnight cold brew, and to quick froth milk, and it has done all 3 tremendously! And as always, don't do a fine ground with it unless you want more ground in your coffee. I tend to do coarse for the french press, and bloom it with a little hot water for 30 seconds before pouring the rest in. Definitely replaced my old one with this :)

Love this little press. Considering getting another for a friend.
I’ve held off writing this review to really be able to give it an unbiased opinion having used it for a few months. I can say, I love this little press. I use it primarily for tea and it is perfect. The most important part of the press is made of glass and stainless steel. Remember that using a french press and getting a great cup of coffee or tea requires some experimentation on your part to determine the taste you want. How long you let your boiled water sit before using, the amount of tea used and how long to let it sit. It’s a great little press if you will determine the method of that is right for you. I am considering purchasing another as a gift for a friend.

Simple and effective
A French press is a very simple device. The most important part of using a French press is following the steps, adjusting how much coffee you use based on how strong you like your coffee, and adjusting your brew time and temperature depending on the type of coffee you're using. You can't really do any of this with an automatic drip coffee machine, besides the amount of coffee. I'd recommend this if you're starting to get into specialty coffees. Everything onside this French press is made of plastic and glass, and inside is metal and glass. It might not last as long as one made of just metal and glass, depending on how quickly the plastic deteriorates, but I'm sure it would last quite a while. Since all the plastic is on the outside, I don't really see a reason the life should be significantly shortened. Disassembly of the plunger is very easy, you just need to remember the order the parts are stacked in, but you realistically don't need to do that terribly often. I wash mine while it's assembled, and every few uses I'll disassemble it to get rid of any stray coffee grounds. Don't put this in the dishwasher, though. It's quick enough to hand wash anyway. For overall, broad strokes on how to use this properly: - Pre-heat the French press with hot water while you heat water for your coffee - When your coffee water is ready, drain the French press of hot water and pour in your desired amount of coffee - Pour in enough hot water to just cover the grounds, and stir (bloom phase) - Wait 30 seconds - Pour in the rest of the water - Wait around 4 minutes - Press the plunger down with ONLY the weight of your hand, no pressure. It will go down very slowly. - Once the plunger is all the way down, pour your coffee, but DO NOT try to get every last drop or you'll end up with coffee sludge in your cup (this happens with all French presses) - Dump your coffee grounds and wash your French press Not sure how hot the water should be? A good rule of thumb is to boil some water, then let it sit for a minute. Adjust from there based on your preference and your coffee grounds. Not sure how much coffee to use? Start with 2 tablespoons per 8oz cup of water and adjust from there.

Gorgeous
I am not sure what it is, but this french press is gorgeous compared to our old one, I am happy to display/store it on our coffee cart. The instructions are easy to follow if you're new to the french press world. It also cleans easily enough

Makes a strong cuppa coffee
I first used a French press a year ago. I bought a small one from IKEA. It was only enough to make One Cup of coffee. I got this one and it makes two full cups for myself which I require each morning. The coffee is as strong as you would like to make it depending on how much you put in it and how finely you grind your coffee. I use an espresso roast and when pressed there are not many grounds in the bottom of my coffee Cup. I have washed this in my dishwasher and it is very sturdy.
