Pleasantly surprised! Be 100% sure on sizing.
I bought this for my average sized to maybe smaller French Bulldog (25lbs) in an XL. It is slightly loose and I probably could have ordered a large, but if she grows any it's perfect. Even being slightly loose it works perfectly. However, having said that, make sure you measure. It is not adjustable like some harnesses, so if it is anything more than slightly loose you can't tighten or loosen at all. I can't stress enough that knowing what size you need is important. If your dog measures between sizes, size up. Loose is great but too small is too small. It is much like a padded vest. Very nice for the cooler spring weather. For a French Bulldog it is probably NOT a wise idea for summer heat as they tend to easily overheat or have a heat stroke. I am in western NY so, it's a great choice for us. The major heat of summer is MAYBE 2 months. It closes on with your typical plastic clips. But also, the D rings are one on each side of the clip so there is absolutely no chance of it opening up when on a leash. I wouldn't call it a "no pull" harness, but the way it puts the pull on the dog's chest and underside is nice. This particular dog does not pull, so I haven't put it to the test. However, if I bought the same for my larger bulldogs who do pull I'd still feel comfortable in the ability to hold them back using it. EXCELLENT value for the money!

Best harness, paws down.
The media could not be loaded. FOUR-YEAR UPDATE: This is the only brand of dog harness I will ever buy or recommend. Three months after my last update, we took in a paralyzed foster terrier when all of the local shelters went into COVID lockdown overnight. That spiraled out of control quickly. Since then we’ve fostered more than 30 dogs with intensive care needs, most fully or partially paralyzed from spinal injuries. Very often our fosters need to wear a harness 24/7 for safety, especially newly disabled dogs who need a service human to help navigate their environment. These are so comfortable for round-the-clock wear, even for allergy prone dogs or those with sensitive skin. These also work well in conjunction with the standard Walkin’ Wheels chest harness for dogs that don’t like the Walkin’ Warrior harness. I put the Voyager harness on first, then the wheelchair chest strap. It’s a very snug, comfortable fit that usually keeps everything properly aligned. Most of our fosters are lowriders with some degree of bladder/bowel incontinence, which makes for A LOT of laundry. It’s very rare that we can use a harness more than 2-3 days in a row without washing. There’s almost always a freshly washed load of harnesses hanging to dry, with plenty of clean ones in the bin ready to go. These Voyager harnesses take a relentless licking and just keep ticking. I’ve now purchased more than 50 of these in every size from XS to XL, and even one XXXS for my best friend’s itty bitty kitty who’s a frequent houseguest. I have yet to find a dog breed under 35 lbs. that can’t fit into one of these. Dachshunds, terriers, yorkies, chihuahuas, poodles, poms, maltese, cockers, frenchies—you name it, I’ll put a Voyager harness on it. Finally found the one!
I really love this harness - we’ve tried many for our little 10 pounder ratchi. The Velcro plus the clip plus the double d rings a make for a very secure fit. Also, no scratchy parts like so many other harnesses. So it’s much more comfortable for him. The only thing is I ordered the set with the leash and the leash is the wrong blue and I don’t know how to exchange it since it was a set! Otherwise - great purchase!

Good quality harness and it’s very secure with both the Velcro and clip. It’s also a step in harness which makes it more secure but easy to put on. I bought a small size for my chonk of a cat which is a good fit. We live in FL so it’s important the harness is breathable. Little man looks super cute in his new harness. I approve but little man does not

Great!
I really love these, they always fit so perfectly and are comfortable for my dogs. They seem to be much more comfortable , roomy, flexible then the harder stiff ones. I highly recommend for young dogs or puppies getting used to a harness. It's also great for buckling into our dog car seat. Really great durable product. Our mini poodle is 22lbs, 13 inch neck 17 inch length and we got the medium.

Good fit and control.
A friend recently puppy sat our female chihuahua and thought the dog was uncomfortable with the standard collar we provided. (Had searched local stores for a small enough harness but no luck.) Our neighbor managed to find this one ordered it and the dog was wearing it when we returned and seemed much happier on her walks without the tension on her neck. So, when we acquired a male companion for her, we ordered one of these for him. He is slightly bigger so we had a thin harness that developed pressure points he found uncomfortable so he was a happy puppy when this one arrived as it is far more comfortable. A minor quibble. It is harder to clip the leash to two small "D" rings with a dog squirming in anticipation of a walk. Interesting to see if they could make on with a single, larger ring.

Long lasting and easy to put on
These are the only harnesses I buy for my dogs. It’s more vest-like which I feel helps distribute any pressure over a larger area which seems more comfortable to me, but I’m not a dog so who actually knows lol. The color options are cute too. My only critique is that one of them was very different in size compared to the others I purchased in the past. It almost seemed like it was mislabeled. It’s only been one out of 1/5 of them but I didn’t expect it and took off the tags and everything, so just make sure it fits even if you have purchased it in the past.

Harness fits perfect!
Harness fits my 6 lb Chihuahua perfect! I guessed because I didn't have a tape measure and got a size a small and it's perfect. It's so easy to put on and he looks super cute in it. I ended up ordering a second one in the camo color for him. Will probably end up ordering more since the price is so good

The media could not be loaded. Excellent harness. Tried different ones over the years but never really happy with them . My Westie seems very happy and comfortable wearing the Voyager Step In Harness. From my point of view he can’t wriggle out of it either. Westie owners will know that they can be very stubborn and dig their heels in????. I did as the website said and measured my dogs chest. He measured 22 inches and he weighs 10.5 kg. I got him the XL size which was perfect. There’s enough room as well to put a waterproof coat underneath in winter too. It was worthwhile the wait as it was imported from Phoenix, Arizona and took 2 weeks to arrive to the UK.Good value for money even with the international postage I would highly recommend this product

Armholes too small and in wrong place
I carefully measured my dog and ensured that I ordered the correct size, but when the harness arrived the armholes which cannot be adjusted were either too small or in the wrong place because the edges of the harness there rubbed her armpits and she refused to walk. She has other harnesses and walks fine with them. This is a strange fit. I have returned it but it comes from overseas and since there is no UPS Drop Off near me, I have had to return it my post and I have discovered it comes from overseas and so there is customs declaration, two outside labels etc. Don't know cost yet! My advice is do not buy this. In future I shall try to ensure items are UK sources on Amazon UK in future.

Fits my Westie
Ideal - keeps my rescue Westie safe on walks. She is 8 years old - have had her for 3 years and has only just started to come out on walk on a lead with my other dog. Needed to keep her safe and secure. Ideal. Size just right. She is about 8- 9 kg - as a guide for other Westie owners.

Good but sizing is a little off
This is a decent harness and seems very secure. I can tell it is made well and it looks nice. I measured my dog exactly as stated, from the description and image guide and even had someone else check the measurements versus the harness options too. However it is a size too big for him and so gapes slightly at the stomach when he’s standing. I think it may be made a tad too big.

Small size so be carful
We have a 12 kg lhasa apso and the medium was way too small. Even the large size is neat so I'd recommend going a size up when ordering. But the overall quality is very good and this is our second to buy so overall very happy.
