Good cooler despite its physical imperfections

I love the size, shape, and look of this cooler. However, the outside canvas came scratched up. I exchanged it for another one, which came even more scratched up. I guess it’s bound to happen with use but would expect it without those flaws as a new cooler.

Quality not impressive

Quality of product is not impressive. Was disappointed of how cheaply the product appeared to have been made given the price.

Disappointing...

After one use the threads on the handle began to give way. I wonder how long until the whole thing unravels. I was surprised that a brand like Coleman would have such shoddy quality control. It's pretty disappointing to pay full price for outlet store quality.

Keeps items cold with a small footprint

The media could not be loaded. This waxed canvas cooler has kept my drinks very cold for a few hours at a time. The longest being just under 12 hours. On that last time I used it, I found a wet spot on the canvas at the back of the soft cooler, even though it says in the description that it has WELDED SEAMS TO PREVENT LEAKING. Does this mean I now have water between the inner lining and the canvas? I have not had to clean the outside of the canvas, as it hasn't gotten dirty. The canvas seems very durable and I can see it lasting a long time. My only issues were the wet spot on the back after having the water and thawing ice in it for almost 12 hours, and the huge tags that are sewn to the inside of the bag. I can easily solve the leaking issue, if it is indeed one, by using one of the frozen gel packs instead of actual ice. I still love this little cooler bag and it's easier to carry around than those clunky plastic coolers. Update to review: There is no leak in the internal liner of the cooler. I have used it many times since the incident with the moisture on the outside of the bag. I have concluded that the moisture was caused by cold bag inside my truck leaning against the hot leather seat. Therefore I give this cooler bag 5 stars! love this little bag!

A bit spendy, but a very cool cooler

I love the rugged look of this soft cooler. This cooler is being used primarily as a lunch bag on day trips, and the earth tones and thick fabric fit in well with my hiking gear. Overall, this cooler performs about as well as you'd expect a soft-sided cooler to perform - not great, but good enough with proper preparation such as pre-cooling and reducing air.
