Chewed Up By A 35 Year Old Screw

Didn't work at all. I drilled in the screwhead, hammered in the fitting extractor until it was snug (none of the extractors wanted to bite the screw) and failed twisting it out with a socket wrench multiple times. After that I decided to stop playing around and did what i'd do with any quality extractor. I hammered it in harder until it could support itself and then attached a Milwuakee 12V drill, after the multiple attempts of drilling it out the extractor still couldn't grip the screw. The tip of the extractor is completely chewed apart; I didn't expect an old motorcycle screw to cripple these so easily. I'm going to do what I should've done in the first place and just buy an actual heavy duty screw extractor.
