POPIS PRODUKTU Tyto bílé zábrany proti stříkající vodě jsou vyrobeny z pevného plastu a zahrnují levý a pravý rohový díl. Každý kus má křídlo odvádějící vodu, které se zakřivuje o 2-3/8 palce směrem k vaně a je navrženo tak, aby přesměrovalo tok přebytečné vody zpět do vany. Tyto pevné, nenastavitelné zábrany proti stříkající vodě přiléhající k rohu jsou dodávány s úhlem 90 stupňů a jsou určeny pro těsné rohové instalace. Tyto zábrany proti stříkající vodě se nejlépe instalují s čirým nebo bílým lepidlem na bázi silikonu, ale povrchy stěn a vany by měly být předem očištěny alkoholem, aby bylo zajištěno čisté a trvalé spojení. Silikonové lepidlo není součástí dodávky a je nutné jej zakoupit samostatně. Great for price!

I used silicone caulk to seal to tub and is working great, i think that is what people have problems with, its not a real easy fix but is worth it if you take your time and do it right which really didnt take much time at all!

Just what my tub needed

Works great for redirecting the water back into the tub and not on the floor. Only issue is it doesn’t come with a way to attach it to tub. So make sure you have caulking to adhere it to tub.

Misrepresented

Mostly my fault, but it doesn't fit square. End up using a lot of caulking. It came with no adhesive. It should be rubber or at least be playable. Not a great product.

Install pro tip

I'm seeing many complaints that these do not fit properly. This product is 90 degrees. If your mounting surface is not 90 degrees, that is not a defect in this product. To get around this, dry fit the barrier to your tub, then trace a light line on one side. If it does not contact the wall and tub, lean it inward until it does. Find the sweet spot, then make your mark. Apply a generous bead of silicone to the mating edge of the barrier, then set on your line. Once it cures apply another bead of silicone to both sides for added strength. I accidentally kicked mine getting in the shower and it held just fine.

Kinda bigger than i thought

May be a bit of a trip hazard. Something smaller might do the trick, keeping the floor dry without having to navigate into the shower like a boat in a channel. I bought them for the curved design that pushes the water back into the shower, instead of having it just run around the end, and onto the floor near the middle of the shower instead of at the corners. The curved design seems to work.

Install with silicone

Very easy to install. I use some white silicone and it adhered very nicely to my tub. Now the water doesn't get on the floor and ruin the baseboards anymore.

These did not come with adhesive of any kind but they are excellent. I used caulking. Worked great.

I had a real problem with water splashing down the side of the bath when showering, this little gadget has solved the problem..!

Fantastic splash guard that actually works

Fantastic splash guard that actually works. Uses high quality plastics (feels thick and durable in hand), and is sizeable enough to effectively block water from splashing out of the tub. The curved edge also helps keep water in and flow back into the tub, rather than letting water go around it and off the side. I was aware that this doesn't come with an adhesive, thanks to a previous review, and used the same caulk mentioned in that review. It's provided a very secure, water proof adhesion to the tub wall and side. While some may see the lack of an included adhesive a drawback, I actually don't mind. I had previously purchased different set of splash guards from Home Depot which included a thick double sided tape on the splash guard. Such adhesives are not water tight though, and the water was able to get through the porous double sided tape. Overall very happy with this product - when properly solved, it does a great job of stopping leaks off the side of your tub

Recommended product to prevent water damage

We decided to order this instead of the smaller ones that were found locally. These are much sturdier and we liked that they were curved to redirect the water. These are quite large, however, that outweighed the water damage that we had due to kids splashing the floor and walls. They are made of a thick, plastic material. These do not come with instructions or adhesive. We have found, in the past, the ones with adhesive/tape, eventually come loose. To install these, we used a small amount of silicone caulking on the surface of the plastic and then caulking the edges to create a straight finished edge. After a few showers, they have held up very well. A few notes: -these have a significant curve and will need a tub/surface with the space to allow the curve -they are a little more difficult to install if your wall/tub is not square. We had to use extra caulking to fill in the gap. -there are no hooks on this style to clip in the shower curtain. A recommended product - we have ordered another set for our main bathroom.
