Measure first, before you buy
This thing is deep! I bought this to pair with a MR Direct 10" deep, undermount sink. This combination was not compatible with the house plumbing. In order to use with a dishwasher nipple, the drain would have to flow up-hill. Unfortunately, I found this out AFTER my return window closed. It is a nice unit otherwise, but I had to buy a generic low-profile drain at the local hardware store in order to be useful.

Low quality
Bought this drain for outdoor kitchen sink because it was recommended to go with the 14 guage sink we purchased. Plumber started installing it but brought to our attention that it's made out of flimsy, cheap stainless. We agreed to let him take it out and install an extra Kohler drain we had but hadn't used for our inside kitchen. No comparison between the two. Huge difference in quality and not all that different in price.

Love the deep basket!
Ordered this setup for our new sink and I love it! It has a nice looking “lid” for when you want to close off the drain and fill the sink with water. And the deep basket is sooo much nicer than the shallow normal ones, especially when you are working with veggies, etc. We don’t have a disposal (septic system) so that was extra attractive to me. The basket has a nice handle to lift it out. The whole unit is very sturdy, made of good quality material, and goes very well with my brushed nickel faucet and stainless steel appliances. The package arrived very quickly and was very securely packaged. I have no problem giving this 5 stars.

Correct Drain Assembly for our Sink
We originally purchased our stainless steel sink a couple of years ago from MR Direct. We didn't know it at the time, but the threaded drain was defective, was only stamped aluminum, and the plastic nut had a tendency to back off and allow the sink to flood on the floor. So we had to keep an eye on it. Have been trying to find a replacement as we could not find the sink basket/drain assembly in our MR Direct catalog, but by chance finally did a search and found the piece needed. We also noticed that the drain pipe is now threaded plastic, which is 100% better than the drain assembly we received with the sink. We replaced the assembly today and feel our problem is solved! Thanks MR!

Connection not threaded correctly
My licensed plumber could NOT get this piece to hold together. I had to purchase a different piece with a metal nut to connect and have my husband fix it so it wouldn't leak. Grrrr!
