It's a great cleanser but a bit pricey

Everyone has heard of proactive...I remember trying it at least 20 years ago. So, I would go as far as to say it's a trusted brand. It was always too expensive for me as a teen but I thought if anything helps with the acne...I'll try it. The first proactive system didn't help me (that's not to say it's a bad set but it didn't help me in particular), but it seems that this one really does help cleanse my face. It has a light, fresh scent that's not too overwhelming, it's a green gel and it lathers quite nicely. I truly like this cleanser but 35.00 USD is a bit much to pay for a simple gel cleanser. I think until your find your holy grail cleanser...try whatever you think might help and hope it won't break the bank. Otherwise, I really like this cleanser and think others will too.

Works great for my skin

After washing with this Proactiv Green Tea Foaming Face Cleanser, my skin feels very smooth, clean and refreshed. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant. I would definitely recommend these to others!

Love it!

Was hesitant to try as Proactive usually causes dryness to my skin. However, this has been working great for me! I love the smell. Definitely have to rub it around to crest the foam/suds. It leaves my face feeling clean without feeling tight or dry. It’s not caused any breakouts either. A little seems to go a long way.

Solid Cleanser

Face wash is essential in my day to day routine so I was interested when I saw a green tea foaming one. It was interesting because I wanted to see how clean a green tea foaming face cleanser actually does. Experience/Quality: I've been using this cleanser for the last few weeks and the results have been great and consistent. No breakouts, and it is gentler on the skin than alternatives from Neutrogena. I have a moderate-to-oily skin type and the cleanser does slightly dry out the skin, but to an extent where it is comfortable rather than overly harsh. The aroma is mild and pleasant. I couldn't be happier with the product. Overall, very solid and I would recommend to those who need a facial cleaner.

good cleanser in winter

Proactive green tea foaming face cleanser has pretty strong scent but it goes away in short time. It does not smell like green tea for me, more close to herbal scent. The texture of the cleanser is very watery so I always pour too much. It is a gentle face cleanser and cannot remove makeup completely. I like to use it in winter time when I do not want to over-dry my skin.

Nice, seemingly generic cleanser

I do like this cleanser. The scent is fine, dare I say refreshing; I appreciate the gel consistency, as I’m prone to oily skin and gels seem to work best for me. I also enjoyed the amount of lather, whether it be shampoo/toothpaste or cleanser, I like a good lather. The directions say to apply a generous amount and massage into skin for 1-2 minutes, this seemed excessive to me. My skin didn’t feel stripped of all its moisture, but I do feel clean, which is important to me. It does not clear off all your makeup, which usually isn’t an expectation for me, but with the high price tag on this, makes me wish it did a lot more, and I find it to be pretty average.
