Color temp seems a little cool, install a little fussy

The product info said 3000 kelvin, it seems like it is a rather cool color light. I have some other lights that are 2700K, there is a vast and easily visible difference. The install was ok. The order of operations was a little difficult, you may want a helper just to pass you things. You need to install some washers and spacers above the glass bottom to the light, then hold it in place and get the final nut installed. Trying to handle it all on your own might be difficult. The glass part of the shade fits very snugly into the fabric part of the shade, it's easy to get one or the other dirty while installing. You really have to force the glass portion inside the fabric drum to finish the install. At one point I had the glass disc stuck in place, but couldn't fit the final nut; it was sort of held in place but I didn't want to walk away from it to get more tools for fear it would fall out and break if I left it unsupported. I was stuck on the ladder holding it, until I could get someone else to fetch me what I needed. The center threaded rod is not that long, so unless you really jam the glass part in there, you're not going to get the nut and cap on the bottom. A longer center rod or some more free play around the glass bottom would make the install easier. Despite being a bit convoluted, it's not difficult; it's just a bit of hassle. Since it is built in LED strips, you won't have to take it down to replace bulbs, so you'll only have to deal with it for the initial install. It's a nice, slim, close to the ceiling surface mounted light for that price. You get what you pay for. All in all, it's pretty good.

Add a dimmer!

Pretty light. We attached a dimmer switch because the light was bright enough to blind someone. After that - I was extremely happy with the look.

Looks great

I was hesitant to purchase since there were limited photos but I’m glad I selected this fixture. Looks great in my hallway and would work w several home styles. Basic light and provides adequate/what you’d expect lighting. Recommend. I hired electrician to install so can’t speak to that part.
