it works well with polyurethane, have been modifying regular guns to fit the poly, on a whim decided to try this with the 26 to 1. it was much better compared to a regular gun. clocking feature is nice. able to poly the gm clamshell motor mounts without removing them now.

Great Caulk Gun

I let someone borrow my good caulk gun a while back, you know how that goes, didn't get it back. We needed to apply some OSI Exterior Sealant that is on the thick side and all I had was an el-cheapo caulk gun. The first day was rough on the hands, so that night I went and ordered this gun, and wow what a relief.

Heavey Duty!

This gun is a heavy duty gun as advertised. I liked the fact that it is made in America and by a family company. I used this with Dow U428 to install a windshield. Anyone that has used the stuff will tell you that it is very thick and difficult to dispense but the gun held up fine. I'm sure this will be in my tool kit for years to come.

The smaller hand can use this n is 3 times easier to squeeze the caulking out of the tube.

The metal needle to puncture the caulking tube is a little to short n in not so good of a place for it. Do not know why it is made like that.

I CAN caulk!!!!

I've always had issues trying to caulk my DIY projects - would have to use two hands on my husband's old gun to get even a little blop of caulk to come out and then struggle with it for ages to lay down a very messy line (can't even call it a bead). But now, thanks to this little gem, I CAN CAULK! Was laying down silicone in a newly tiled shower and after doing one corner with the old gun, pretty much gave up and ordered this gun. At 60 and 125lbs with small hands (size 7-8) I could FINALLY lay down a (near) perfect bead. Yes, there's still a little ooze after releasing the pressure lever but if you release shortly before the end of your line, the extra is minimal. Friends had recommended I spring for an electric gun but I'm so glad I didn't fork out the money for that! For the occasional caulking that I do, this gun is perfect. Don't hesitate, buy one!

No spout cutter.

No spout cutter. First time I ever paid this much for one and not have a spout cutter. Should have been lower price.

NOT Dripless

Indicates dripless technology but then they obviously forgot to incorporate that into this gun. Looks great and sturdy, extra long poker, all good except, caulk just keeps pumping out after you release the trigger. You can hit the release button but that isn’t convenient because then you’re repriming the thing when you need more caulk. I really had my hopes up that I was finally buying my last gun. Obviously not.

Wow, so easy to squeeze!

With a big box retailer's "orange" generic caulk gun, I was struggling with two hands to ooze a 3/16" bead of sikaflex 252 polyurethane. It took me over 20 minutes to squeeze out half a tube, and my hands were cramping. No way I could squeeze any out with just one hand. I ordered this Red Devil 26:1 caulk gun to try. SO MUCH BETTER! I can't believe how different. I can squeeze left handed, right handed, get a perfect bead with even pressure with very little squeeze effort. I was just going to try this $30 manual gun before buying an expensive DeWalt electric, but this one is so easy to use and get a good bead that I don't want an electric anymore. I will never go back to the orange generic caulk gun. Before you buy an expensive electric caulk gun, spend $30 to try this one. Might save you several hundred $$$.

Works well

It works well but it is still a bit hard to squeeze out caulking. There is still room for improvement, perhaps a few cogs would help increase the torque.

Did the job

I used this to dispense Sika Anchorfix epoxy. It worked well. Now that I have this tool, it will be a nice replacement for my other cheaper and weaker caulking guns.

Way out of my expectation

The best chalking guy I have ever used. Never thought it can be so good. Way out of my expectation. Strong power with minimal effort, stable chalking.
