This product despite being a real Redcat spur gear is just not that great. I have bought 3 of these now and they have all stripped out on the same day I installed them. Im experienced and know how to mesh gears and I can't keep them from stripping. I did however locate a metal gear and pinion set that fits the redact perfectly and provided me with a bit more speed and a bit less torque on a "competing website".
