Not your mother’s Ritz cloths

A few years back, I searched to no avail for Ritz dish cloths. I was down to my last of a batch I purchased in the 70’s. Yeah, 50 years ago. I still have the last of those, and it’s the thickness, after 100’s of washing/drying, of three of these. That said, the waffle texture is what I like, so I might just sew them in pairs to get the absorbency. I also use them as face cloths, as they are mildly exfoliating before you get them soaking wet!

Don’t try these!

These dishcloths are positively terrible! I haven’t even used them yet. I washed them in the washing machine and they are already falling apart! I am going to have to zigzag around all the edges before I even attempt to use them in the kitchen. It would be a problem for people who either don’t know how to sew or don’t have a sewing machine.

After approximately a month's use, they've held up, but are they 100% cotton?

These dish cloths wash well in the laundry and are gentle scrubbers. I'm not convinced they are 100% cotton, especially the aqua colored cloths. They don't absorb as well as my past Ritz cotton dish clothes. They air dry much quicker than my past cotton dish clothes. They have a polyester feel in the hand. I will keep using them until they wear out. If they actually are polyester, they will wear out sooner rather than later.

Terrible cloths—not absorbent.

Don’t buy these—There is no way these are 100% cotton! They just smear the water around the counter and barely absorb any. I’ll continue to crochet my own cloths out of yarn that IS 100% cotton and actually absorbs.

Don’t Waste Your Money

Even though this dish rag has been wrung out, it is impossible to wipe down countertops without leaving it wet. The fabric does not absorb liquid!

Awesome dish clothes

Colors in the white ones don't seem to be fading with my bleach cleaner. Also, the two different colors make it easy to keep sanitation in my kitchen.

Love them!

These wear like iron and get even more absorbent with time. Their towels have always been my favorites too.
