Comfortable but creases days after wearing them
I needed some shoes for work and Rockport is usually my go to shoe for comfort. The shoe has some weight to it but it is comfortable for walking and standing long periods of time. What I don't like is the cheap leather that creases days after wearing. I've since found a better pair of shoes from another company but if you need a quick starter pair of work shoes this is decent until you build a collection of better quality shoes that both look and feel good.

Good quality shoe from Rockport
Rockport has always made a good quality shoe. I purchased a 12 Wide because I have a wide foot. The toe box fit perfectly but the heel is a little too loose. The shoe overall is very comfortable. My only complaint is that when I received the shoe, there was cat or dog hair in it. It appeared that I received a pair of shoes that was someone else's return. I was not happy about it at all. Obviously someone had bought it, worn it around and then decided to return it. I would have immediately returned it, however I am in a bind and have a formal event to go to and have no other shoe alternative so I have to wear these. There is not enough time for me to order new ones. All of the local stored do not have my size in a similar shoe. If I had more time, I would have definitely returnedbor exchanged them. My complaint isn't with the quality of the shoe itself, its with the fact that I got someone's return.

Good shoes, using as "last resort" to replace now unavailable Red Wings.
My favorite black Red Wings are no longer made, so I had to find something to replace them for work. These seem to be sturdy shoes. I can tell you I had to "add 1/2 of a size" to my old Red Wing size to these to get them to fit, so they must run smaller. I had to send my first pair purchased back and reorder 1/2 size larger. Those shoes fit nice. The insoles are a bit hard feeling to me comparted to my R/W's, but I can throw some padded liners in them. I'm satisfied with these shoes as "less than $100" type shoes. The one negative I can mention is I don't know WHY Rockports always do this to me, but it always feels like there is a "hump" just it the front of the ball of my foot at the base of my toes on the floor of the shoe. After a couple weeks I may have "adjusted" to it or maybe I've pressed it down a bit, and I can deal with it I think. Bottom line this shoe is one of the only "understated and sensible looking" oxford work shoes you can find on the market and I'm happy with it.

A comfortable shoe
Rockport is a shoe very comfortable with a good quality. Wearing shoes for almost 12 hours every days, Rockport seems an excellent solution.
