Buy Recommendation

Owned these a couple years now. They are durable, stylish and waterproof. I walked many miles around cities in Europe on many rainy days in these shoes. These shoes held up well. They breathe too which is great from waterproof shoes. My experience anyway. Buy recommendation

With 10N size shoe, I normally buy Rockports or New Balance

I like the fit. It had a slightly dressy look than my previous walking shoes. This will come in handy on a trip to Scotland where I will most likely take two pairs of shoes.

Best & only shoes I’ve bought for over 30 years

Good support and comfort. Latest version is made in India. Very firm and needs to be bent and flexed before initial use. Shoehorn essential at start. True to my decades of experience with this model it is the only shoe I buy.

XW made in India not wide.

XW made in India not wide. It is wide at most. Definetly not XW. International order, so return not worth it. Not sure if they will break-in. Edit: Did couple things. Found a shop where they can widen shoes using shoe racks, heating and maybe some substances. Replaced the insole with a 3/4 insole. Weared them till they break in. They are not ideal XW now but they are fine. Apart the width problem they are quite Light and the sole is not very hard absorbing shocks.

Comfortable walking shoe

Purchased in narrow width ... Which of itself can be close to impossible to find. Found these to be as if not more comfortable than Rockport World Tour at a cheaper price point. Good quality, all day comfort and nice styling. Happy with them

When Ordering these double check what the order page shows.

Well, first of all, if you order these shoes, Amazon will send you a completely different pair of shoes. I thought the mistake was mine so I re-ordered the shoes and in the order page it showed the same shoes I had already received which are not the ones in the picture. The size I ordered were what I wear everyday but I found these to be a bit tight. So, I am not sure how to get a pair of shoes as shown in the picture. In the past I always found Rockport shoes to be comfortable and well made.

Superb fit and comfort, a little expensive but wear well so worth the money.

Good Buy

This is my fourth pair of these shoes and they are very comfortable. Howerver:- The padding around the achilles area is thinner than previously. The leather is stiffer than previously. The laces are noticeably shorter than previous pairs. I get the impression that corners are being cut although the price is pretty much the same!
