Installed on my Pontoon boat

I didn’t have a subwoofer on the boat prior to this. I like the pop it gives it, definitely feel the base. Make sure to get a good amplifier for it, and that you run the thicker cable for the power and ground to the amplifiers. I have a Skar amp just for the subwoofer and another skar amp for the head unit and speakers. I haven’t had it long, but so far so good. I used very low gauge wire for the power and ground to these amps, had to trim down the ends to fit into the amp connections. I also like the base adjustment knob that I installed on the console.

$60 sub- can’t go wrong

Bought this as a tester for my marine set up and it’s here to stay. It bumps on my skarr 800w amp, it’s seriously heavy duty and has some major flex to it. Took about 4 hours to break in before it started sounding good. Only con- the grill looks cheap (it’s decent quality it’s just a little tacky). And the little light that comes with it is just a cheap stick on led strip but it’s easily removable and not worth wiring to its own electric source like needed. Although I did wire mine to my anchor light- the blue is cool but it kind of just exposes the tackyness of the grill at night.. Set up is a 500w 4 channel for 4 6.5- and this 10” to a skarr 800w (turned about 80% up with no distortion). All on a 16.5 foot boat. Strictly saltwater use with no issues.

Good sound.

The speakers sound great and are a good buy at the price point. My only complaint is that the LED lights have poor connection and needed to be bypassed in order to work.

After some testing I turned off the low pass filter on my amp because this speaker does an excellent job of low and mid ranges too

I used the 10” Rockville to replace the sony 10” marine subwoofer that cone rotted in my seadoo boat. It had the same 8 screw pattern but was just slightly smaller. It fit well in the same speaker and screw holes. After some testing I turned off the low pass filter on my amp because this speaker does an excellent job of low and mid ranges too. The spring loaded connectors made the wiring easy. Lots of options on how to hook it up because of the two voice coils, the instructions were helpful in this area. Most of my time was spent connecting the light wiring to my boats lighting panel. Then I let the neighbors hear my music. All-in-all a very good purchase.

Speaker failed within an hour of play time

The speaker failed within the first hour of run time. The volume was low at the time of failure.

Didn't disappoint!

these subs are great. We installed in our boat that never had subs before so of course a bit of wiring was needed from our head unit but once we accomplished that, installing these and hearing the reward of great increased sound and range of tones was just what we needed! I looked around quite a bit before I opted to officially "settle" on these. Figuring I would be only ok with the sound due to the seemingly, "way to low" price when compared to other name brand options. i can tell you know, super happy i chose these 10" subs. Not to mention, the LED lights look so cool and add some pizzaz!

Wow! Great price and all the Bass you could want

Very easy to install. The sound quality is absolutely amazing! At this price you definitely cannot go wrong! I decided to hook up the lights come on with the radio rather than having them go to the beat of the music. We have two subwoofers in the boat and it’s never Sounded better!

Blew after 2 hours mild use.

I hooked this sub up to a max 800amp source and had it running on medium. It lasted for about 2 hours and then no longer worked. I contacted the seller for a return and then to ship me a new one. They want me to pay to ship the old one back before they will send out another. Disappointing, I will just cut my losses and buy a superior product next time.
