Perfect shower light!

This light was easy to install and does a good job of casting a bright light in the shower area.

Good light fixture could use a little improvement.

I ordered a variety of different low profile IC rated LED fixtures such as this to test them out for an upcoming project. The light output, dimming levels, CRI and color temperature of this one seems to be accurate. The manufacturer Globe Electric is a name I know and it has been around a while. The others such as NickLED, Getinlight and Cloudy Bay I had never heard of which in itself doesn't mean that they aren't fine but LED fixtures don't always last as long as advertised and I'm more comfortable with a name I know has been around a while. The build quality seems to be decent though it isn't as sturdy feeling in the hand as some of the others I have tried. Since it doesn't get handled everyday that isn't much of an issue as long as it can take the jostling of the install which I think it should. All the 4" lights I have tried are actually different sizes. The 4" is the size of the hole in the ceiling, not the fixture itself. This one measures 5 1/8" across overall while the swiveling part of the fixture is 4" and the frosted plastic lens is 3" across. The flange of the fixture that snugs up against the ceiling has a thin foam gasket to help keep things less drafty though the 1/2" depth of the flange is not as generous as some of the others so use a hole saw to make your holes in the ceiling and not a hand saw or hammer otherwise your 4" hole might become a little too big. Coupled with a Lutron TGCL-153PH dimmer it worked fine with no buzzing or flickering and dimmed down to what looked to be 10% with no problem. I do wish that it would swivel a bit more than it does and the finish on the flange ring and the inner lens ring are two different shades of white, one warm and the other cool. Most people wouldn't notice but I certainly do so for those two items I am docking it a star.

Excellent product very thin

Wonderful product. Installing the device is not tough. Get a good drywall cutter to make the hole. The hard part is getting the power to each light. I used a 2nd line from wall switch to a ceiling fan that had been abandoned. The old installation had the ceiling fan using one switch for the fan and the other for a light pack on the fan. Newer versions do both functions with one switch and a fan remote. Prepare for a mess.

Easy to install, but not much pivot.

Easy to install, even in thick plaster ceiling. Kick out a lot of light. Pivot is very minor, though. Not as directional as I assumed. Installed 3 and one of them on a dimmer switch. With a regular switch, all worked great. With the dimmer, one flickers when it first comes on.

I like the 3000k color of the light

I purchased these directional LED lights because of the sloped ceilings in kitchen. Installed 4 of these at 540 lumens each in my small kitchen so they point straight down. I like the 3000k color of the light. Makes granite counters, white cabinets and stainless appliances look great. Installed a Lutron dimmer purchased at HD.

Not enough swivel.

Not much swivel. Maybe 20 degrees in either direction. I bought these to point at a fireplace but they don’t aim. Will be returning.

Love these lights

Love these lights, great high-end look and functionality w/ gimbal without the designer light store price. Easy to install with strong spring clips, yet didn't damage 1/4" fragile Sheetrock.

Nice and easy to install, lights didn't last outside long though.

but a pack of four, installed, lasted 2 years before one failed. Replaced with a new one, 3 weeks later the other 3 failed. Would have expected more durability/longevity from those LEDS. Replasing them is easy though, but at 50$ each time, starts getting expensive. When they were working, I was happy with them.
