Great, but should have come with the kit.

I have the 1617espk which includes the plunge attachment but no dust accessories and no adapter for porter cable guides. It works as it should.

Check sizing

The adaptor works well once installed, Bosch probably could have machined it out of a little better material but once it's installed, it holds other guides well with no play. That being said, if you're using a separate set of brass Porter Cable design guides they're O.D. sizing was very slightly larger than the collar on the Bosch adaptor I.D. So after a little polishing on the brass guides with some medium emery cloth they were able to slide together perfectly and worked great. Ultimately not sure if the Bosch adaptor is slightly small or the brass guides I have were slightly large, admittedly my brass guides are made in China so there in may be the problem.

A Great Value; Adapter Ring Is Included

This template guide mounts easily and it holds the included RA1100 adapter ring very tightly. For less than $8, it is a good value. Amazon is misleading customers when it shows that the included ring is often purchased separately with the template guide. The only complaint I have is that the guide bushing cannot be mounted flush with the router base, as I have seen on all other routers, but is recessed by about 1/16”. If you have already trimmed your bushings to work with thin templates, that 1/16” loss of overlap with the template could be critical.

Better than I expected

I hear people saying these slip or didn't work right, but mine's great. I don't really see how anyone had issues with that, but I will say you do have to lay the pieces in just right and hold the spring lever back just right too, for it to take properly. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it, then I learned how to use it and now I'm happy. I did put a tiny drop 3-in-1 oil where I thought it was was needed because it felt catchy and scratchy inside with the spring action. Now it flows nicely and the spring holds a tight fit locking things in place. Came on time and arrived well packaged, thanks!

Not centered

Used a centering bit to get my base plate perfect, installed the adapter, and tried to fit a bushing, but its not centered. I tried rotating the bushing around in all different directions in case the bushing needed adjusted, but no matter how I turned it it always sat off to the same side, so it has to be this piece. Think I'm going to end up just making my own base plate adapter out of plywood to use some bushings so I'll know they can be perfect centered.

It works fine with my Porter Cable template guide set. Installation/removal are just straight forward; inexpensive, too. Five star!

Works well but is a bit expensive.

I bought this adaptor plate to use a us style threaded guide bush that came with the UKJ Universal Dovetail jig. Works great with my Bosch GOF 2000 CE router. Releasing the guide bushing is easy using the catch and fitting it was no problem. Seems a little expensive for what it is, but it does the job.

Excellent and cheaper than buying as a kit

Had been looking for a adapter kit for my Bosch router for a while and saw this adapter in a kit. After some searching found this part on its own meaning I can use it with a better & wider selection of other template guides than those provided in the kit. But this and get a decent set of guide bushes to go with it. May cost slightly more but will so much more flexible.
