Decent for the price.

Things to note: The tray came bent, so it wobbles on the flat floor. I just straightened it out the best I could. Also, the bristles are bent up. It's sturdy though, and well coated/painted.

Lasted two years

The tongs just snapped in my hand this morning. Maybe 20 uses all told over two years. Very disappointing.

Pretty good

Only complaint is that the brush came bent up and isn’t all that useful. Otherwise, everything seems to be pretty good quality especially considering the price

We used the shovel and poker already and they worked great. There was a very small dent on one ...

We have a wood burning insert and we use that to heat our home. Our existing set was getting old, and the handles were the kind that unscrewed every time we used a tool. I just received this and put it together yesterday. As I mentioned we heat our home with wood, so this will get lots of use.We used the shovel and poker already and they worked great. There was a very small dent on one side of the frame, but it is so small that you can not even notice it. I believed it most likely happened during shipping as the box was a little beat up. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Good quality and sturdy

Been using this fireplace toolset for about 3 months and giving it a 5 bc it’s exactly what I expected. For the price it’s sturdy, easy to assemble, doesn’t take up to much space and does the job. I do agree with the other notes; the brush is too soft.

Very sturdy

This seems to be a very sturdy fireplace tool set so far. We have used it for about a month. The small broom is a little on the cheap side and mine wasn't in the package right so it came with all the bristles messed up. That was a bummer.

We wanted a small, inexpensive set for our new apartment and this fit the bill. It's a dark pewter color. As others have mentioned, the tools do screw together, but we haven't had any problem with pieces unscrewing during use. The only downside I've seen so far is that several hairs fall out of the brush each time we use it. We bought the matching hearth screen, and together they look very nice.

It's okay... I guess

Honestly it isn't horrible, but it's not like it's amazing. The broom sucks, as many people have noted. Also the whole upright hanger thing for the tools is flimsy and designed poorly. The powdercoating on the individual tools holds up reasonably well, but at the same time you can see it starting to burn off the poker and the tongs. Really this is all to be expected at the price point of this item, and I don't think you'd get anything better without spending a ton more money.

Pretty

Beautiful addition to our fireplace and decor. Did notice the base was not even so it rocked on the flat surface- but not that noticeable. Metal is thick and strong and is holding up well to use. Nice matte black finish.

Quality of the product

Have been using the set for about a month and have had no issues. The kit shows no signs of ware and makes operating the wood stove much easier.
