Classic American craftsmanship

American made products are all like Cadillac, they're good at what they do but don't feature an extreme amount of attention to detail, these work great and are rock solid, but for this price they could have aligned the tools better and cleaned all the metal dust out, if you want a product that's more "finished" get Knipex or something else European (all this doesn't effect functionality at all though)

Klein is the best.

I have always used Klein tools, especially their wire-cutters and needle-nose pliers, for electrical projects, as well as other stuff.. These diagonal cutters are slightly larger than my last pair (Klein also) which were getting ever-so-slightly dull after 50 years of use and abuse, so I bought these just as back-ups. You may pay more for Klein, but they are worth every penny and will last a lifetime!

price can always be better ,but quality matters when you keep replacing tool that should last a 1/2 of your career even if you don't pay. Time is Money and Money is time.

Excellent Side-Cutters for electric work

Klein tools are what I used when I worked low-voltage professionally and they lasted me for several years of constant daily use. I surrendered my tools when I left the profession and when the time came to do the work independently I knew what I wanted to buy immediately. 10/10

Diagonal cutters are a little tight. They loosened up a little after oiling. Lineman and needle nose pliers open and close smoothly with no resistance. Good value. Pretty much but two get one item free.

Bought this set and the quality is amazing, they are slightly stiff but once broken in they are top notch

Two tools misaligned

Not inexpensive tools, and with the apparently great Klein build quality. Well, these have gone downhill significantly. The jaws of the cutters were misaligned (seems a lot of people have this issue), and the linesman's pliers didn't close, so it wasn't possible to use them. Returning right away and will pick another brand in future. Avoid.

Tip of cutting blade is misaligned!

I’ve been using Klein tools for over 20 years and I am very disappointed with the last 2 pairs of side cutters I’ve purchased from Amazon. I often use the cutters for cutting small gauge telecom wiring, and since the tip of the cutters is misaligned they will not cut through small gauge wire. They basically just mash it. These are a replacement for the last pair that was sent out and are just as bad as the first ones I was sent. I just took possession of a pair of Knipex 8” diagonal cutters. OMG these are life changing. Made in Germany with high quality German standards. I will never purchase a poor quality Klein tool ever again.

Impressive tools...

Set up a price watch and got them at a sweet deal. These are the real deal, pro pieces. Large, heavy, serious... very smooth, sharp and precise... Great tools... highly recommend...
