Occidental. Bridle leather. USA. Period.
Handsewn bridle leather almost 1/4" thick. Made in USA. Very high resale value. Some people like to buy them broken in because of the quality and leather thickness, they take a while to break in...months. I wear them for one or two years then put them on eBay. The black one I am reviewing I purchased twice because it is nice. I sold the last one for $185.00. I live in Wisconsin so it takes a beating because once road limits are lifted, it usually snows a few more times and a decent amount of rain. The belt comes with applied treatment that is a natural oil base for water. When the season ends, I use the Occidental treatment for my belt. I clean it up and it's beautiful when I wear it the next time. Don't overdo the waterproofing because of the quality it has been applied at Occidental. It will become too heavy if you use a lot. Do it one good time per year. Plenty! A professional and honest review by Chad Okeefe.

Great rig
After 15 years with my last belt I finally spent some money and got a great belt. I've only had this a couple of weeks but I absolutely love it. I wear it with Melo Tough suspenders, also from amazon and the combination is great. My only gripe is that the leather is bleeding dye on my shirts. I'm sure this will stop eventually, and or I could due something about it, but as I need new work shirts anyway I'm just going to ride it out for now.

Defective Belt
Ordered these bags for my husband but the belt had a problem with one if the rivets on the belt. Contacted toolup for an exchange, I was sent a fed ex label to return at no charge. I was never sent an exchange for the product but a credit to my amazon account, I had to go back on amazon and re-order but the price had gone up since my purchase made 3 weeks ago. I wish I would have gotten the exchange in the first place & not have to wait another week to get the order since my husband needs these bags for work.

The real deal...
Perfect! Before I got these Occidentals, I was buying the Husky brand about once a year. No regrets on this purchase, hopefully I don’t need to buy new bags for a while.

Hardware could be a little more durable
Heavy leather but rivets started pulling g through very quickly. Has replacement parts but feel it should be more durable from the start for the price.

Best pouch i ever had.
This pouch is well worth the money. Very sturdy, and wears well. I also ordered the pro comfort belt with occidental suspenders. I reccomend it.
