These rock!

Have preferred these since they came out years ago IRWIN lives up to a solid reputation. These are long lasting and strong will go through most common staples and small nails with minor wear and keep going but will probably not survive the traditional 16 pen nails. Still if ya miss the big ones these will cut all day every day like butter! Also a plus if you find a local knife/bit sharpener in your neighborhood (almost always is one) ya can have these sharpened a few times too, but they are so affordable you can replace them when they wear out for woods, I save them after that for nice drywall drillers tho.

Great quality

These cut like crazy and seem less stressful for my cordless drill! I hit a nail with one and thought I destroyed it, but it was surprisingly not destroyed like others. Not even a nick.

Throw out your old spade bits

These are the best. Goes through framing studs like they were butter.

Wood bits

These bits are ok until you have a nail in its path when drilling through wood. They loose their sharpness. Maybe someone knows how to sharpen them.

FAST cutting

I got these to drill bench dog holes in a workbench top. The lead screw pulls them in quickly and they did a good job of drilling the hole quickly. With that said, watch out for knots and tough patches. I had to swap out to a regular spade bit to get through some of those parts where the screw was more aggressive than the cutting edge could handle.

Held up up 2 holes

I got this drill bit set for the price. You get what you pay for. 2 of the 3 did not last beyond 2-3 holes.

Great speed auger set for cordless drilling

Irwin is a great quality brand. This 3-piece pack is good value and very convenient to use, especially for electricians needing to drill a quick hole here and there, now and then. The triple auger threading makes for fast and easy drilling. Also comes in a more expensive pack with a plastic molded case, but I personally keep these in a tool box or chest until I need them. I actually bought a couple more Irwin speedbor bits at a big discount at a big-box DIY store as well. I recommend this product and brand.

Incredible

Saved me enormous amounts of time using these to bore holes through studs. It used to take me 30 minutes to bore a hole using spade bits but with these Speebor bits, it took me only 30 seconds to bore a hole. I had to use my 7A corded drill to cut the holes because the torque requirement exceeded my cordless drill.

These are definitely good for drilling into longer sections of wood that's thick ...

Works as expected, but as youtube reviews show, these can sometimes split wood because they're extremely aggressive. The Daredevil spade bits are a bit gentler and slower and don't split wood. These are definitely good for drilling into longer sections of wood that's thick enough not to split.

Perfect bits but wished it came with a case

I am a professional electrician and these bits works great. I gave only 4star because i wished they came in a case.
