Beautiful features!

I bought one of these dolls for myself in one for a friend who also collects Barbies. Her features are so realistic. Usually when you get African American dolls, they are just white dolls painted brown. But the features on this doll are real. Is also great that Barbie has started the series for African American women heroes so that our little black girls can have something to cherish and help them learn about their heritage.

Well packaged, perfect condition

I was concerned about damage to the box because some people have received damage packages and that is a problem if you are a collector. The doll is beautifully designed and the dress is beautiful. Overall I’m happy with my purchase. Have ordered 2 more dolls from this collection.

So beautiful and inspiring

As soon as they announced on the news that this was coming out, I knew I was going to cop. I bought for inspiration, something for myself to strive for. A reminder that I can do it, too. It is beautiful, I don’t even want to take it out of the box. I will eventually but it was packed very well. I think the only thing that matches the real CJ is the nose. You have to keep in mind that Barbie is not known for selling plus-sized Barbies so I expected the shape to not resemble hers. A lot of the negative reviews are about her size as if the person selling this manufactured the product. The background is most likely the house she used to sell her products and do hair in. I think the people standing behind her are the ones that worked for her.
